There are some of these animals around my town in the suburbs. The last time I saw a fox, it was devouring a rabbit, the blood pouring out. I stopped thinking they were cute after that! Also saw herons and deer, and eagles.

we kept ducks when I was a kiddie in England - that put me off foxes for life.

R16, if this guy’s cameras are normal trail cameras then they are honing in on the sound and light.There is the click of an aperture opening when they begin recording and they emit an infrared light which many animals, depending on the ratio of rods to cones in their retinas, can see.
