I don’t see any flames, but there’s geared up firemen heading in.

Real breaking news on DL for once! Nothing about this on Twitter. Could it have anything to do with the earthquake or was the epicenter nowhere near you guys?

They go for many things, not just fires. It could be a gas leak or an automatic alarm to nyfd went off.

Earthquake near NY R1?
Fire trucks are gone now, but lots of workmen out on the 12th (?) floor set back roofs, both on the north and south sides. There’s a bunch of wires/equipment there so probably that malfunctioned.

Near Buffalo, r4. It wasn't a huge earthquake so I can't imagine it caused any trouble in Albany.

OP, you had me at "geared up firemen heading in".

A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Monday morning near Buffalo, New York, the strongest recorded in the area in 40 years.

Hopefully the fire will cremate her.

A 3.8 is nothing, It feels like a big truck has driven by if it is perceived at all.

I'm 100 miles south of Buffalo and we didn't feel anything

I swear I felt a tremor in midtown about 20 minutes ago. My desk was vibrating. After shock!
