She had her moment. I'm not straight, but if you REALLY look at her, she wasn't THAT hot. She always looked older than she was. But, tits and blonde will attract a lot of straight men. Amanda is a legend.

She sure saved both Melrose Place and Spin City -- and was Alexis' funniest and surprisingly most effective nemesis in Dynasty.

Not a lot of range, but people clearly enjoyed watching her, and from what I've read, working with her.

Yeah, she got good reviews from coworkers. Might not matter to the viewers, but I respect that. Thinking about it, I haven't seen her in quite some time.

What struck me is that she was having a long distance relationship with Tommy Lee over the phone when he was on tour and he thought he was talking with Heather Thomas. And she married him! I thought she was smart but I guess that was just Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place and not her.

She may not be a great actress, but she has great presence and is watchable and the camera loves her.

And has been said, she is very well-liked. On the Melrose reunion during lockdown, Marcia Cross RAVED about her. Remember Cross worked on the cuntiest set of all time, Desperate Housewives, so if she praised Locklear, you know Heather must be a great colleague.

I’ve met her a handful of times. She’s a really lovely, gentle lady who unfortunately has a terrible problem with alcohol and prescription pills. You know how AA has the literature about an “allergy” to substances? Yeah, she’s one of those people. She damn near blew up her whole life - family, finances, etc - but I was told she got on Suboxone (surprisingly common in Hwood), reconnected with her sponsor and is doing much better. The last time I bumped into her she looked haggard but was as warm and gracious as ever. I really hope she can pull it together, if only for her daughter’s sake.

In the book " The Dirt" which all 4 Motley Cruz members wrote. In one of Tommy's chapters he talks about him and Heather and how they met and that he thought he was talking to Heather Thomas. He was very sweet about her and said that for his Birthday (a few weeks after they met), she bought him a top of the line dirt bike with all the gear. He never said anything disrespectful about her and said he hopes that she's happy, because she is a very thoughtful and sweet woman. The Dirt is an entertaining rock bio, and I thought Tommy's chapters were the best.

Heather and Angie are both big ole sluts. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'm a fan. Not many have starred in 4 successful series. Sami Jo and Amanda are iconic. I wish her good health.

Tommy Lee said that Heather confronted him, over the phone, about whether he was fucking a porn actress. Tommy admitted to it. Tommy said the phone went "click" and next thing he knew, Heather had filed for divorce.

That's interesting r10. He speaks very poorly of Pam, which has caused fights with his sons. I believe Pam never got over him and there's a bit of continued manipulation on her part through her sons. Her comments during her netflix special strongly suggestred she's still carrying a torch for him.

He doesn't seem to like her very much now, that true R20. It does seem like she's done some manipulating with their boys. His alcoholism hasn't helped either. He has a very romantic outlook on things, that comes across in The Dirt. Especially when he talks about his dad dying. He said his dad was in the Army since he could remember and that's how he meet Tommy's mother. He was in Greece and met her. She was Miss Greece. He was never all that close to his dad, but said his dad never tried to stop him from being a drummer in a rock band. As his dad got older they spent a lot more time together fishing on Lake Mead. That was a good chapter too. He seemed extremely hurt when he wrote about Pamela. I think they did love each other, but too much got in the way.

She was great on Sin City and had great chemistry with Michael J Fox. She could have done more sitcoms actually. I can see her having a revival if she stays sober. Ageism isn't a big deal now that streaming services have taken over. Many older actresses are having a day in the sun again

Heather is white and all but you can kinda tell there's something else in that mix. There are Creoles in Louisiana and fair-skinned people in pockets of Virginia, Maryland and Kentucky who look just like her and identify as black. Lumbees are triracial as the link says. It just shows race is very much socially defined. And many people self identify based on their cultural upbringing not just looks.

She's someone I root for settle into sobriety, put Hollywood and the need for plastic surgery or Botox and fillers aside and live a quiet and more contended life.

As others have written, I don't ever remember hearing a bad thing about her until the media started splashing headlines and tawdry tales when she was obviously messed up by alcohol and meds.

She worked hard (wasn't she on T.J. Hooker and Dynasty at the same time?), played the game well, rescued struggling programs, had good reviews and her co-workers have fond memories of her. Not a bad life.

Hope she's getting to enjoy some of it now with a clear head.
