Before it went off the rails, he was great in Shameless. Just like The Bear, he's good at playing very damaged people that are assholes, yet somehow forgivable. Interesting about the wife. The A-list? He stars on some Hulu show no one has ever heard of. Most people have never heard of him.

He's C+ list.

He’s tragically short. In my opinion, that disqualifies him from being considered hot.

He did win a best actor Golden Globe and SAG Award for said Hulu show, and is a lock to at least be nominated for an Emmy. That alone makes him at least momentarily A- list.
