Lynda Carter was the best dressed woman on 70s TV

The link is hilarious. Obviously written by a funny queen. They observe one of her outfit color choices as being “fresh banana and rotten banana”. Lol

OP - Thanks so much for posting this!

I’d love to see one on Knots Landings’ Travilla

Great quote! I love funny queens. They're rare these days.

From an episode where Lynda Carter is Diana Prince, the caption under the screen still reads:

“Just running through the forest in mink and platform boots.”

😆

This!

“What better way to stay warm while trapped at the bottom of a lake inside an oil drum than a chunky turtleneck and blue velour?”

Under another pic of Lynda as Diana Prince…..

“She was sure to be the most styling at the Renaissance Faire”.

I hated it when Diana wore a hat. Same with Cheryl Ladd on Charlie’s Angels.

I think Lynda Carter on WW and all of the women on Charlie’s Angels except Kate Jackson were BEAUTIFUL and dressed to the 9s.

To a lesser extent, at times, Lindsay Wagner on The Bionic Woman.

Some of the less elaborate things she wears here, high school girls wore to school or on a date, in the later 70s. Like chunky turtlenecks and velour, peasant-style tops and so on (not hats). People just dressed less casually. Those embroidered Japanese satin bomber jackets were big, too.

Her boots always had heels… until it was time to run, etc. then they were suddenly flats.

by Anonymousreply 10February 5, 2023 11:33 PM

She has a great thigh gap.

R11 what a strange reply.

by Anonymousreply 12February 6, 2023 9:01 PM

R12 What's strange about it? There's a picture of her in a short skirt with a thigh gap.

by Anonymousreply 13February 6, 2023 11:13 PM

R13 Stop looking for camel toe

by Anonymousreply 14February 6, 2023 11:17 PM

She is wearing pantyhose with that tennis outfit.

by Anonymousreply 15February 6, 2023 11:29 PM

She wore pantyhose with everything. Same with Daisy Duke

by Anonymousreply 16February 6, 2023 11:41 PM

R16 Not with everything

Her figure was insanely good.
