why do people post here on dl without capital letters?

They are probably dictating what they are writing and don’t know the command for capital letters.

I assumed people are typing on their phones and it's just too much trouble.

Sure, r1, when that conversation is really ANNOYING.

I normally use capital letters.

However, something I've done for several years and including in posts here, I no longer honor a place or person which fails to meet the standard(s) of decency that I hold.

As an example, our disgraced former president who lost the election in 2020 is always spelled as tRUMP.

In examples that are of places, the State of texas deserves & gets no capital letters from me and the state of florida is instead spelled as flor-i-duh.
