I knew Leon through a mutual friend. He was the ultimate fashionista drama queen. Completely over the top about everything, he was also an amazing man of accomplishment in the fashion world.

But in the end, he was careless with some of his important friends and certainly he never worried about his finances. I thought it was a rather sad end to an amazing life story. But, I think he probably would have just ignored the bad and concentrated only on the beauty. comprenez vous?

Yep, it is foreign to many except for the many who hail from the Black church--particularly the Southern Baptist Black church. IMHO, there's a lot wrapped up in all of this. I'm sure at some point (right or wrong) that Andre believed his own press. Then you have the racism aspect (wait a minute folks) that is real but not just only for him.
