Tennessee cuts HIV program with Planned Parenthood ties
Wow, state where abortion is already banned will make those affected by HIV suffer solely because the program is attached to Planned Parenthood. PP is often the only healthcare provider in underserved communities.
In fact, the Indiana HIV outbreak under then-Gov Mike Pence was spurred by the fact that the state had stopped Planned Parenthood funding and there was nowhere to go for healthcare in many rural areas.

It was probably what they wanted all along. I remember hearing some time back that things like this would happen as a result of overturning Roe v Wade. We're just starting to see it now.

There’s nothing left to do but move to a blue state. This will be nearly impossible for most poor people, but it’s a matter of life and death. Get 10 roommates, do what you have to do to get out of these shithole states.

Turns out that just because Planned Parenthood was one of the recipients of HIV funding, NONE of the organizations will get funding to help HIV patients.

yeah, I'm sure he's going to step right in with that efficient funding, and not just hand a sack of money over to some church to pray the gay away.

The strings attached to the federal money included proving that the money was actually going to help those with or at risk for HIV.
