We should remember Joan at her BIG haired best as demonstrated in this photo.

Crawford looks scary and insane in R1. She would cut you as soon as look at you.

At least he didn’t have to dry clean Dead Judy’s dress!!!

No description of Joan in her casket? What a letdown. I wonder if her eyes were wide open with surprise brows.

Did her corpse have a contractually-obligated shadow on her neck to hide the wrinkles?

I never knew Picasso dabbled in plastic surgery R6

I gasped at r6!

This video is too long. Just tell us what he says.

[quote] Just tell us what he says.
Not much. Only about a minute of the video has to do with Crawford.

"Joan sure looked DEAD!"
by Anonymous | reply 11 | January 13, 2023 4:24 AM |
OP, what’s your point with this?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 13, 2023 4:31 AM |
R3 That Judy Garland mortuary tale sounds like a factual event made up by Kenneth Anger.

And way too long ^^^^^

I'm so glad that story is still out there, r3. The last time I went looking for it, I had to find an old archived copy.

According to this account, Joan was cremated. She is interned at Ferncliff. I don’t see why there would have been a casket.

In the UK, the coffin (casket) is burned with the body, R16. Can’t imagine it’s different in the US.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | January 13, 2023 1:25 PM |
You have to pay for some type of "box"/coffin to be cremated in...I chose the cheapest option : cardboard.

In the US bodies are usually cremated in cardboard boxes or just a shroud / body bag. My mom just pre-arranged all her services, she wants to be cremated, but also still wants a traditional Catholic wake and funeral, so she’s renting a nice casket for 3 days.

Most of his ten minute memory consists of saying I don't remember. Thank God that's on the internet.

From R3: “So, with someone like Judy…, well, with her fans, I mean, you just can’t be too careful.”
DL's proof of that!

I hate insufferable people like him who feel their life is so absolutely fascinating that they ramble on about these insignificant details before getting to the meat of what we're all here for - details of Joan Crawford in her casket. And that's saying something when your video is only 3 mins long and people are fast forwarding.
And when he gets to the part we want to hear, we find out he didn't even SEE see her in the casket, he saw a photo of her in a casket and he makes absolutely no comments on what she looked like. Good Grief!

Not only did he bury the lede, R22 - he MURDERED IT!!
