He's still rethug swine, but I have to give Ryan credit for having the balls to say what so few in the GOP will openly admit.
I'm sure Trump is flinging plates and dishes around the Mar-a-Lago dining room after hearing this.

Paul actually looks better now that he has a little meat on his bones.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | January 13, 2023 12:19 AM |
Oh he's so brave. Yeah right. Ryan is bravely calling out Trump because he has no interest in ever getting back into politics. If he was thinking about running for office again he'd be covering for Trump just like he did when he was in Congress.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | January 13, 2023 12:56 AM |
Oh. How I pray the GOP picks Trump to run
by Anonymous | reply 3 | January 13, 2023 1:02 AM |
Paul Ryan actually looks rather aged there.
Must be from licking Trump’s ass when Ryan was in politics
by Anonymous | reply 4 | January 13, 2023 1:04 AM |
Paul Ryan's opinion means nothing. Nothing at all.
Trump is still running the show for the republicans. Kevin McCarthy made a spectacle of himself thanking trump. He went on for like 5 minutes saying how his being made speaker was all due to Trump.
The democrats are not up to fighting the republicans.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | January 13, 2023 1:04 AM |
He looks like shit.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | January 13, 2023 1:08 AM |
Ryan looks he has plastic surgery procedure that didn't set in well.

[quote]The democrats are not up to fighting the republicans.
And yet, they beat him soundly in 2020, and humiliated most of the candidates that he back in November.
So I guess it's your opinion that means nothing at all.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | January 13, 2023 1:08 AM |
I've often wondered if there was more to him leaving politics than we were led to believe. He seemed to be well on his way to being party leadership especially given his younger age.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | January 13, 2023 1:16 AM |
So are you, bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | January 13, 2023 1:40 AM |
Fuckers like him are the worst. They have all these wise words once they have no more influence. He was a spineless twit when he was in office.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | January 13, 2023 1:43 AM |
Paul Ryan's antics while in office helped create the toxic atmosphere which led to Trump as president.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 13, 2023 1:43 AM |
Trump has an infinitely better chance to win in 2024 now than Biden does. Garland is to blame.

I agree. I've always thought there's more to the story.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | January 13, 2023 1:49 AM |
You are seriously nuts R13.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | January 13, 2023 1:49 AM |
Ryan didn't want to be Speaker but was forced into it. I wonder what his future would have held if he remained a congressman. He was on the fast track and could have gone far but then Trump happened, turned the GOP to shit. Ryan could have worked both sides of the aisle but Trump made it impossible.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 13, 2023 1:53 AM |
Paul Ryan actually seems sane and normal now, compared to a crazy like.MTG.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | January 13, 2023 1:57 AM |
Still looks like Eddie Munster. Especially with the Widow's Peak on his forehead.

Do you even read the news?
Biden is now at 50% approval according to the YouGov poll yesterday. Trump is hanging out at about 40% in the last poll I saw.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | January 13, 2023 2:11 AM |
I think Trump has about as much chance being elected president as Madonna does.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | January 13, 2023 2:17 AM |
R21 Yeah, we all thought that in 2016.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | January 13, 2023 2:22 AM |
That’s some strong dye Ryan’s using on his hair.
It’s even darker than it was before.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | January 13, 2023 2:23 AM |
Who’s fucking him now? Guys partner?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | January 13, 2023 2:27 AM |
Meh - too little, too late.
Stating the obvious after all this time is hardly a rousing endorsement of his testicular fortitutde.
As a matter of fact, making such statements now merely illustrates all the more vividly what a slimy little weasel the man actually is.

[quote]And yet, they beat him soundly in 2020, and humiliated most of the candidates that he back in November. So I guess it's your opinion that means nothing at all.
1. The democrats barely won. And they lost the house. I don't care if you have a different opinion. The truth is the truth. Don't accept it. The republicans will destroy everything in the next two years. And the democrats, as usual are not up to doing anything. They don't know how to fight back.
And by the way, there was just another insurrection in Brazil. This is going to be worldwide. The democrats COMPLETELY BLEW IT with not punishing trump right away. They should have used the Patriot Act and taken Trump and the other insurrectionist politicians to Guantanamo Bay. Had the situations been reversed, it's exactly what the republicans would have done.
Trump's not going anywhere. All those Trumper politicians are in charge of the house. And the democrats don't know how to fight them. They've spent the last 40 years getting hustled by the republicans.
They couldn't be bothered to create any laws to prevent another insurrection or to even get rid of Trump's people. Trump's people/supporters still have their government jobs and are all in place to cause a lot of damage to the democrats and the country.
Louis Dejoy & Charles Flynn still have their jobs, despite being criminals and traitors to this country. Jerome Powell (trump's guy) was given another 4 yr term as the head of the Federal Reserve, despite missing inflation completely. This would all be laughable if it wasn't so sickening.

Well...smell Debbie Downer @ r26.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | January 13, 2023 2:52 AM |
R26, you’re only half correct. None of this is as simple as you’re describing. Also, the GOP absolutely underperformed in the midterms, the Dems achieved wins not seen in a midterm for almost 100 years.
However, I am just as pissed off as you are, and no, I’m not holding my breath for the Dems. Both parties are overtaken by Corporatists, though the GOP is 10x’s worse because they are also traitors and some of them are allies of Russia.
We can’t afford to wait on leaders, we can’t expect the rich to give up their wealth. You think they will? Well, they won’t. We have to bulldoze right over them.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | January 13, 2023 2:54 AM |
Not voting for Trump. Not voting for Biden, either, but a lost Republican vote for Trump in a battleground state is good enough.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | June 11, 2024 11:48 PM |
Actually if you don’t vote for Biden, you’re voting for Trump.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | June 11, 2024 11:51 PM |
R30, If you're a republican not voting for Trump, it's a loss in the republican column. Conversely, if you're a democrat not voting for Biden, it's a loss in the democratic column.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | June 12, 2024 12:03 AM |
The majority of voters are women, so if they want Trump again, it's all on them!
White women have already thrown away Roe for a generation, if they want to lose everything else they can keep voting for Trump. Any woman who doesn't show up for Biden/Harris this year hates women (as many do) and deserve what they get. It's the rest of us I'll feel sorry for.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | June 12, 2024 12:04 AM |
Actually r31, “losses in the column,” whatever that means, are irrelevant.
Donald Trump or Joe Biden will win the election. No third party candidate will. That’s a fact.
If you vote for a third party instead of Biden, you’ve just voted for Trump, because you’ve deprived Biden of a vote he needs to win, making it more likely Trump will win.
So what you described is not “politics 101,” it’s “misinformation 101.”
Democrats, or anyone who wants Trump to lose, even if you have problems with Biden (like I do), if you vote for anyone other than Biden, you are completely out of your tiny little mind.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | June 12, 2024 12:11 AM |
R31 does not know the aphorism of not making perfect the enemy of the good. It's not ideal, but I'll happily take it - especially in battleground states - if heretofore solid republicans don't cast a ballot for Trump. The Great Realignment also applies in such instances.

R35, Fox devoted more stories to The Rock simply announcing he would not be endorsing Biden again to Trump's own vice president stating he would not be voting for his old boss.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | June 12, 2024 12:53 AM |
If Paul Ryan and his fellow Republicans weren't so craven and morally bankrupt, they could have gotten rod of Trump years ago. But nobody was willing to stand up and put their country and the constitution before one corrupt individual.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | June 12, 2024 1:48 AM |
Courage is not a virtue practiced by Republicans, R37. Otherwise they would not have nominated a gutless, spineless coward like Donald Trump.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | June 12, 2024 1:55 AM |
Ryan's comments are, ahem, not be receiving well.
