Will Zendaya continue her sweep of awards for season 2 of Euphoria? I sure hope so. But even if not, the nomination is amazing. Our girl did amazing!
LOL at Michelle Williams being snubbed for Ana de Armas.

The Adam Sandler nomination is bogus

She’s not “our girl,” you obsessive freak.

They put Jennifer Coolidge in Drama Series instead of Limited Series, so Coolidge will most likely win, but had they placed her in Limited Series she would have won that category and Zendaya would win Drama Series.
But I believe Coolidge playing Tanya a second time on the series now makes that series a Drama Series and no longer a limited series, based on SAG rules.

Funnily, White Lotus season 1 was classified as a Comedic Limited Series while season 2 is classified as a Dramatic Limited Series.

WTF is VIola DAvis doing in this SAG Awards shit? Her performance was terrible. She was completely miscast. There were at least two actresses in that movie who were excellent. Especially the young girl, but Viola was just laughable. Sad! I would have bypassed her for Michelle Williams.

Viola has been getting tons of award nominations and will be nominated for the Oscar.
Ana is the one who truly shouldn’t be there. The movie was atrocious and Marilyn didn’t have a fucking Cuban accent. Her accent was present throughout the entire movie. Idk how people are praising her.

Ana de Armas needs to fucking disappear from the industry. She's one of the shittest actresses out there.

Is Michelle regretting gunning for Best Actress instead of coasting along in Supporting Actress? Inquiring minds want to know!

R7 She is definitely sucking someone off. Blonde was dogshit and her performance mediocre.

Can't wait til SAG sends out screeners. That used to be a much bigger deal before movies started streaming a few weeks after their release but I still look forward to it. Almost worth the price of my yearly dues.

I was a nominator and didn't vote for Michelle Williams. (Nor Ana De Armas!) The person who should have been included was Olivia Colman for Empire of Light. Not much of a movie, but Olivia was brilliant playing a schizophrenic.

R11 no. I think she’s not getting nominated because people are sick of her getting nominated for every fucking role she plays. If you’re a longtime veteran and legendary actor like Meryl Streep or Glenn Close, people don’t mind, but the Olivia Colman’s and Jennifer Lawrence’s of the world eventually become tiresome and people start to get sick of them.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 12, 2023 3:43 PM |
Gee, I'm far sicker of Close than Colman...

I just realized Julia Garner, Jennifer Coolidge and Zendaya have all been dominating their categories, respectively. This is the first time the three of them will face off against each other in the same category. I think Coolidge is getting it.
Or maybe the 3 will cancel each other out and someone like Laura Linney will get it.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | January 12, 2023 9:09 PM |
Laura Linney is a favorite in that community.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 12, 2023 9:42 PM |
R16 she was the favorite for the GG also. Everyone thought she had that in the bag but then she lost.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | January 12, 2023 10:02 PM |
Was there any reason other than vanity Michelle didn't allow herself to go supporting? Many borderline leads go supporting for an easy win (looking at you Viola).
by Anonymous | reply 18 | January 12, 2023 10:16 PM |
R17 at the GG the members of the HFPA were the voters. At SAG her f ellow actors are the voters. Huge difference.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | January 13, 2023 12:12 AM |
Yes r19. And they’re probably gonna give it to Coolidge.
