Lion's Mane: Has Anyone Tried it? Does it work?
I'm drinking Lion's Mane (medicinal mushroom) powder in my coffee now. First time. It's supposed to improve memory, thinking, mood, and help with other medical issues, including brain fog from COVID.
Has anyone here ever tried Lion's Mane? Does it work?

I just drank it in my coffee. No bad taste. It wasn't gross at all.

Yes, I take it. (Personally I think Oriveda is the way to go for mushroom supplements; this is what I take)

i've had reishi mushroom in chai tea before, a brand called "four sigmatic" chai latte with reishi and its tag line was "chill."
I enjoyed the flavor and it really did seem to make me relax. i'm not a paid spokesperson and i don't have any in my cupboard, but i will re-purchase.

OP I have been using Lion's Mane off and on for a year. I take 2-4 capsules a day. It helps with focus. It may take awhile to get into your system, but keep taking it. I started out taking it in capsule form, then I switched to gummy for a couple months because it was easier to take on the way out the door. Now I am out of gummies, so I'm trying to finish up the bottle of capsules. I keep forgetting to take it now and I can tell the difference in my motivation and focus.

I've never taken supplements, but I have grown and eaten it.
Very tasty.

I hope it works. In case it doesn't, I recommend prescription amphetamines, which have been very helpful for me.

This looks fascinating but I get skittish using products like these because they aren’t really regulated carefully.I worry about the quality of supplement because of adulterants. I also worry about contraindications, or reactions that happen between things we ingest for health. But I’m really curious about this idea, Lion’s Mane.

It’s a dietary supplement and has not been shown to have any benefits for health. Dietary supplements do not have the restrictions for health claims that conventional foods and drugs have. They were essentially deregulated in 1994.
Manufacturers of supplements who do not submit their products to randomized controlled trials are essentially a (legal) scam. They are alllovervthe Internet and cable channels from Previcid to Total-T.
