R5 I keep my fridge overstocked these days. Idk what causes it but once I finish a bottle of something I must buy another to replace it. And if I have extra in a cabinet I must replace the one I take out to put in the fridge as a replacement to the one that finished.

A friend of mine gifted me a set of Le Picardie tumblers and a carafe ten years ago and I still love them. Not the most expensive glassware in the world, but beautiful and they still look new.

Duralex shut down Picardie production because of the energy crisis due to Ukraine war. Let's hope it's not permanent.

Thats the way the market is nowadays. There are grey markets where premium manufacturers will dump their production whenever they need cash or something.

Also there is ridiculous time based price surging and cookie craziness. Sometimes if you clear your cookies and shop late on Sunday evening or Monday morning - things are radically lower priced. Then by Tuesday the price can be 2x 3x higher. Bizarre.
