On his wiki entry it states that he identifies as "queer". Do you "identify" as gay?
I don't really understand Gen Z when they say they identify as "non-binary" "queer" or "gender queer".
All of the sort of language makes it seem like everything is a choice. I didn't choose to be gay. And for decades, we tried to tell the straight world that we're born this way. It wasn't a choice.
Gen Z is giving ammo to right-wing bigots who say that we choose our sexual orientation.
I don't identify as a gay man. I am a gay man.
It's almost as if saying you're gay is once again verboten.
