It’s an underrated BOP. It’s not acknowledged like most of her bigger hits, but it was amazing. She was wonderful still and looked amazing.
“This Time I Know Its For Real” (1989) was Donna Summer’s final Top 40 hit, peaking at #7

I heard this song at a gay bar in Paris when I was a gayling. First time there. I love this song.

It’s really a great song and pairs beautifully with I Don’t Wanna Get Hurt. They’re basically twins on the Another Place and Time.

A typical Stock Aitken Waterman song. The ones behind Ricky Astley (“Never Gonna Give You Up”) and Kylie Minogue. Their songs all followed a formula.

This tidbit about the album:
“A second album was planned with Stock Aitken Waterman, however Summer never found the time to get back to the UK, and the tracks were later recorded by singer Lonnie Gordon.“
