Given some of the garbage I've seen posted here in the past that was NOT BASED IN FACT or ACTUAL REAL KNOWLEDGE of Atlanta***, this will probably continue on into the next millennium.

***As a specific example of trash posting about Atlanta, some fool posted here last fall that ,"Buckhead is the only dense part of Atlanta". As it happens, the heart of Buckhead is like 7 miles plus north of downtown and between that "heart" and downtown, there is lots of density and especially in the grid pattern areas of both Midtown and downtown. I know that to be a fact via living here but anyone else can see it's so simply by looking at a map!

Think and gather facts before posting similar garbage, folks!

^^^ Yes and no... A broad generalization like that misses out on the fact that within those regions, there are huge variations in fashion sense to use a term.

Similarly, there is a huge variation in that fashion sense as one goes up and down both the East & West coasts.

It's similar to how the reality is that there is not a uniform gay fashion sense or personality type or pattern of behavior .

Contrast that voting result with the 2020 election results from florida, texas & north carolina to name 3 of the larger 2020 state results that went into the tRUMP column!

I'll also remind you & others of the "Atlanta sucks" ilk, that no place is perfect and neither is Atlanta. But, opinions are different from facts and far too much crap posted here on DL in an anti-Atlanta vein is nonsense and not fact-based as for example the "Buckhead/density" example I pointed out in my earlier post.

No matter what it represents, anyone who thinks they're going to remove the carving from the face of Stone Mountain is delusional. Trust me on this, IT AIN'T A'GONNA' HAPPEN. Just like the NAZI extermination camps in eastern Europe that have been turned into tourist attractions, that carving may not represent a happy historical memory, but it is part of history and will remain there long after we're all dead and gone.
