He almost always plays the same snarky asshole character on the spectrum, and he's always insufferable. I always think that if directors have to foist that kind of character on their audiences, at least they could choose someone new who would be a bit of a surprise in that role. As soon as I see Eisenberg in a film I always know what I'm in for. I can't stand him--it's not just that the characters he plays are always the same, but also that there's no surprise in his performances.
Why is Jesse Eisenberg such a darling with Hollywood directors?

OP be honest, are you Andrew Garfield?

"snarky asshole character on the spectrum, and he's always insufferable" sounds like the majority of directors in Hollywood, maybe that's why they keep casting him.

I don't know, OP. I find him unwatchable.

I like him. I would gladly lick his balls and suck and stroke his penis until the white stuff comes gushing out.

Kevin Spacey used to get his kinds of roles (notably, they both played lex Luthor), but Spacey was a much better actor and could bring more range and breadth to the table.

I can’t even remember the last movie he was in? Has this thread been bumped from a few years ago?
