What happened to Clooney's documentary of Jim Jordan's involvement in the sports abuse

Production started in June 2022.

How long do you think it takes to make a feature length documentary?

I'd say a bit longer than 6 months.

It was supposed to air late September.

I’m so ready for this doc and prays it buries Gym Jordan.

Wouldn't washing him down the (communal) shower drain be more appropriate? Just like the tears of all the victims he tried to intimidate out of reporting their abuse!

Just an FYI; That doesn't mean the Jordan doc isn't ALSO being worked on you know.

I assume Clooney's role is Exec Producer or something, and if you know anything about film/tv production, an Exec Producer of Clooney's status has several projects going at the same time. It's not like he's doing the actual leg-work of making the doc himself.

Also, if WB/Discovery dropped the doc, someone of Clooney's status would have options in his contract allowing him to shop it to other venues FOR SURE.

Nah. Cllooney is a billionaire, hollywood veteran. Not likely to be caught-up by a "catch and kill" attempt... and he certainly doesn't need the cash pay out such a thing would offer.

BUMP! Joy Reid mentioned the doc on her show today and said the release is imminent. We needed it released YESTERDAY!

I didn't even know about this, seems now would be the best bang for the buck to release it. No one is going to want to watch it after Jim Jordan crashes and burns. Old news by that point.
