He's 45. And still attractive, but I think he peaked around the last MAGIC MIKE movie.

It's a little sad. I think the tattoos are pretty recent. He seems to have finally realized that a big-screen superhero franchise is not gonna happen for him (or much of any big screen career). He'd never have gotten that ink if he thought it was still possible. (Yes: tattoos can be covered in makeup. Or CGI. But any good casting director will tell you that they're a liability.)

He does work quite frequently but it seems to consist of voiceovers and guest spots in crappy little projects.

In Manganiello's case, I wonder if this ink is why he's not cast to appear in Magic Mike's Last Dance, set to premiere in 2023. No sign of him on the movie's IMDB. Then again, Bomer (Ken), Rodriguez (Tito), and Nash (Tarzan) from the original and XXL apparently aren't returning either.
