Britney is very unwell. She suffers bipolar or schizoaffective disorder, and went of all her medication so she is extremely manic and has symptoms of psychosis. Those around her are concerned but she is refusing help. It would be better if she didn't post in this condition but after so long being told what she could and couldn't do, they don't want to enforce controls over her. Turning off her comments is the compromise.

Major figures in the Free Britney movement are actually aware of this. They know someone who is close to the situation. Hopefully she is not abusing drugs or alcohol as well. That is a less confirmed rumor. There are some tabloids saying she is planning new music next year to go with her memoir. That is all false, she's in no condition to do that.

Maybe Britney can try a happy medium. Like she can work with a social worker or professional minder rather than live under her father.
