I'm a lesbian and over time I grew to dislike that forum. I couldn't stand how some of them defended celebrities involved in Scientology and they would ignore the mention about homophobia in Scientology. I remember a thread where an OP said she had been disabled due to an accident and wanted to get back into the dating scene. A bunch of the replies were very ableist.

I checked it out once and found many of the responses really aggressive and unpleasant, and something about them reminded me very much of the tone of some posters on here. I wondered then if there was crossover with some of the posters posting on both sites.

I'm a lesbian and I have no idea what L Chat is.

There are two L-Chats, the lchat dot net website is up but the Forums part is down, it's throwing out some kind of error.

The Tapatalk one is still up. I think it was the original L-Anon, right, and now is L-Chat?

r6, I don't know enough about Swift to say either way. I don't understand her appeal.

Don't lie about shit just to be contrarian, r12. There are 10 threads with posts in the last 30 minutes, plus another 20 active over the last few hours, and dozens active on a daily basis. You said no one posted there.

And how would you characterize your response at R4, R4? I would probably choose words that have similar meaning to “aggressive” and “unpleasant” myself.

I had no idea about the existence of LChat. Why do lesbians come here if they have their own discussion site? I have no desire to go to theirs.

R15, no I wouldn't agree with that. There is nothing aggressive or unpleasant in that post, just a statement.

Eh, they keep IP blocking me from posting anyway (for no good reason). I can still view and read the Tapatalk, but can’t even load the other boards.

Some of the chat there can actually be good, but the mods are so hairtrigger about banning posters and shutting down threads that a good discussion rarely gets chance to develop properly. Mur!el looks like a hands-off neglectful mother by comparison.

They do, but only a few threads. It's funny because the mods aren't very active on the Tapa site but the second they started talking about the other LChat being down multiple posts were deleted due to "trolling".

Is the Tapatalk LChat still in operation? Tapatalk refused to allow the LChat mods to close that forum down when they moved over to the new one because it was such a huge forum.

How does Tapatalk refuse to let the forum close down? Surely the mods could simply change permissions so no one could post anymore?

One of the mods from the old LChat went rogue (apparently she'd had issues with the head mod previously) and notified Tapatalk what they were planning on doing when they moved to the new board. So at the end Tapatalk blocked all the moderators and installed that gal as the new mod for the Tapatalk board. The former head lesbo was threatening to sue Tapatalk right and left. I guess she gave up on that.
