My Doctor Misdiagnosed Crabs as Jock Itch!

I should have known! He didn't even look at my dick. He was a young Indian pocket gay or so he seemed. Over the Counter. Prescriptions. Nothing worked. I'm suppose to see a dermatologist. I manscaped tonight thinking that might help. With what I saw and the net I quickly diagnosed myself. This is my first ever STD that had symptoms. I'm going to the all night drug store now. Freaking about four months! And yes I know. . .

by Anonymousreply 53December 14, 2022 11:41 PM

You’re a whore , darling

by Anonymousreply 1December 13, 2022 3:50 AM

by Anonymousreply 5December 13, 2022 4:07 AM

Thanks for sharing, Senator Graham

by Anonymousreply 6December 13, 2022 4:10 AM

Was this before or after your monkeypox diagnosis?

by Anonymousreply 7December 13, 2022 4:15 AM

Since it’s undoubtedly your 8th case, why did you not recognize the symptoms sooner?

by Anonymousreply 8December 13, 2022 4:20 AM

Poor thing, op.

In addition to your HPV, chlamydia, herpes, and syphillis, you must be worn out!

by Anonymousreply 9December 13, 2022 4:23 AM

EWWWW even a gay doctor didn't want to look at your dong, OP.

Mirror-Cracking!!!

by Anonymousreply 10December 13, 2022 4:31 AM

Nix will get rid of your crabs even though it’s for hair lice.

by Anonymousreply 11December 13, 2022 4:42 AM

And how do you know that, R11?

WHORE!

by Anonymousreply 12December 13, 2022 4:43 AM

As an avid NY Times news peruser!

But some doctors advocate an inexpensive and simple alternative that requires little more than a bottle of Cetaphil skin cleanser and a hair dryer. In one study published in the journal Pediatrics in 2004, 133 children with hard-to-treat head lice were recruited and subjected to a regimen that involved coating the hair with Cetaphil, combing it, then blow-drying it until it hardens and shampooing it out eight hours later. The idea is to create a “shrink-wrap” effect that suffocates lice. According to the study, this method produced a roughly 95 percent success rate when it was repeated once a week for three weeks. That beats the general success rate of more conventional treatments like Malathion (about 17 percent) and Dimethicone (about 73 percent).

Thanks R13! The all night pharmacy is no longer all night but I'll get Cetaphil first thing in the am.

by Anonymousreply 14December 13, 2022 5:13 AM

Crabs is still a thing?

by Anonymousreply 15December 13, 2022 5:20 AM

Get the good stuff! I don’t go organic when it comes to crabs!

by Anonymousreply 16December 13, 2022 6:03 AM

You need to find a new doctor. END OF THREAD.

by Anonymousreply 17December 13, 2022 6:05 AM

It’s not necessarily a bad thing. My crabs ate all my gonorrhea.

by Anonymousreply 18December 13, 2022 6:27 AM

I go to the same doctor, OP. His dad is a doctor, but he himself, while born in the US, had to go to a medical school in the Caribbean.

Nice guy, but a shitty doctor. He won't look at anything. He'll either misdiagnose because he's not paying attention or tell you to see a specialist about something that should be within the scope of a regular internist. Find someone else before he misses something more serious!

by Anonymousreply 19December 13, 2022 6:35 AM

Crabs is no big deal, I wouldn't even of bothered to go to the doctor. I've had an anal itching problem for over 20 years now and just live with it. Although, sometimes, when I'm getting rimmed, I wonder what it could be.

by Anonymousreply 20December 13, 2022 6:50 AM

Another night and you'll be able to make some crab cakes with tartar sauce, OP!

by Anonymousreply 21December 13, 2022 6:53 AM

Four months?

Sweetie, those crabs now have renter's rights.

Might as well make nice.

by Anonymousreply 22December 13, 2022 7:34 AM

Thanks for reminding me not to be a whore, OP!

by Anonymousreply 23December 13, 2022 7:52 AM

Yes. Four months! And it's worse than I thought now that I've shaved completely. You can see the nics or where they've laid eggs. It's even spread some to my calves. I'm asking them for prescription strength something tomorrow me. I can't wait for all this OTC stuff to work. Should I file some type of complaint with their quality control department or whatever. Oh the humanity!!!

by Anonymousreply 24December 14, 2022 2:43 AM

I’m not djt but how about bleach on the skin? I had jock itch for a time & put pure bleach on it, it didn’t hurt, but didn’t work. I also tried apple cider vinegar—now that hurt! But didn’t cure the fungus.

by Anonymousreply 25December 14, 2022 7:46 AM

Pics please. Or it never happened.

by Anonymousreply 26December 14, 2022 7:48 AM

Well, at least he did misgender you.

by Anonymousreply 27December 14, 2022 8:51 AM

Surprise anal = surprise crabs

by Anonymousreply 28December 14, 2022 9:24 AM

Why didn't you look yourself? Crabs and jock itch are pretty easy to self-diagnose even without the amazing diagnostic abilities of Datalounge.

by Anonymousreply 29December 14, 2022 9:29 AM

I had a dermatology department at an important research hospital misdiagnose scabies as dermatitis caused by sports and sweating. This misdiagnosis continued over 4 months! I feel your pain OP. All I needed was an oral medication (they have in France) and it would have been solved in a week.

by Anonymousreply 30December 14, 2022 9:46 AM

Sounds more like lobster to me…

by Anonymousreply 31December 14, 2022 11:31 AM

Eh, crabs are gross, but easy to get rid of. Shave, treat with RID, done.

by Anonymousreply 32December 14, 2022 11:33 AM

Can OP take ivermectin?

Oral ivermectin should be considered for patients who have failed treatment with or who cannot tolerate FDA-approved topical medications for the treatment of scabies. If used for classic scabies, two doses of oral ivermectin (200µg/kg/dose) should be taken with food, each approximately one week apart.

by Anonymousreply 33December 14, 2022 11:39 AM

R33 no because he had CRABS, which are not scabies.

by Anonymousreply 34December 14, 2022 11:41 AM

WHORE

by Anonymousreply 35December 14, 2022 11:57 AM

Yes, OP can use ivermectin, both topical and oral, to treat pubic lice.

[quote]Both topical and oral ivermectin have been used successfully to treat lice; however, only topical ivermectin lotion currently is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for treatment of lice. Oral ivermectin is not FDA-approved for treatment of lice.

OP, since you’re such a prostitution whore, you’ll need to check out your back door as well. Merry Christmas.

Shame!

I thought snow crab was extinct? You’ll make a fortune selling your crabs, OP!

by Anonymousreply 41December 14, 2022 12:25 PM

You type fat, OP.

Those critters have lived in the folds of your gunt for months? UGH!

I'd ask if we can have your stuff but in this case....no thanks

by Anonymousreply 42December 14, 2022 12:28 PM

Just FYI Raid spray insecticide works great on crabs. Spray and let it sit a few minutes, then wash thoroughly. Those crabby corpses just pop out. In my whorish youth, it worked like a charm every time (and there were a few of them).

by Anonymousreply 43December 14, 2022 12:33 PM

The reason I didn't look for crabs is because they were never even on my radar. The doctors told me jock itch and I had blind faith in what they said and told me to do. I also go natural down there so the signs were hidden. And most of al I wasn't "the kind of gay man who gets crabs." You know what they usually look like. Ahem.

by Anonymousreply 44December 14, 2022 12:36 PM

Permethrin spray is effective in killing crabs too, but it's very toxic to cats.

by Anonymousreply 45December 14, 2022 12:44 PM

OP/R44 I'm surprised you still have a free hand to clutch those pearls, what with all the itching from your CRABS.

by Anonymousreply 46December 14, 2022 1:09 PM

Shave and then use rubbing alcohol for a couple of days...it will kill the live crabs and dry out the eggs. And no embarrassing trips to the Pharmacy...not that I'd know from personal experience...

by Anonymousreply 47December 14, 2022 8:45 PM

[quote]I've had an anal itching problem for over 20 years now

You can fix that.

You just need some lemon cookies and a hammer.

by Anonymousreply 48December 14, 2022 9:38 PM

OP's favourite tune must be Crabsody In Blue.

by Anonymousreply 51December 14, 2022 10:00 PM

Turn around, OP! Show those hot crab cakes, baby!

by Anonymousreply 52December 14, 2022 10:08 PM
