My father's house was full of gems like this, but when my father got sick and moved into Shady Lines, my brother moved into his house and looted it. That's my family for you. I can barely watch this show anymore because of this.

This is one of my favorite AR segments! Yes daddy is hot. I love the fact that this was essentially an illustration for a book chapter page and it's worth THAT much now. How exciting. I love the segments about art in advertising, poster prints, lithographs, propaganda posters, magazine covers etc. Print media in the early 20th century was filled with talented illustrators, and some of their images are dazzling. The art deco & nouveau periods in particular.

Did you guys watch this full screen? I did. I don't see anything special in the looks department. What are you seeing in this guy that I'm not seeing?

I've become aware of this recently. It was the same or similar here in London. There are SO MANY ex-artists studios in beautiful buildings in the nicest part of London and I was thinking why is this. These people did everything, they had so much work, before photography and even in the early days of photography - magazines, everything was illustrated.

I wandered into one of these studios with a friend recently, now an apartment, it was being worked on - it was the coolest apt I'd ever been too, with a gallery and vast windows with unbelievable views over Notting Hill.

I'm guessing he does a lot of yoga and that keeps him in shape. Slightly hippieish eldergays like him are very common in northern California and the Pacific northwest. The major visible chest hair is another indicator of that.

One aspect that would suggest he's gay to me is the knowing way he wears his clothes. For a man of that age (60-70), his trousers are impeccably tailored and fit.
