Touching them and getting them to lift up their shirt is invasive. A dignified and perceptive interview can still be done without exploiting them. R11, it's an interesting question. In the video, they say that each controls the leg on their side. I don't know how they coordinate, but I'm sure it's instinctual by now. The sensation in the legs is divvied up between them, so working the legs must be a conscious process.
