Having only seen ‘Henry Danger’ & ‘Danger Force’ recently (babysitting sibling/cousin kids—don’t ask), I assume that Jace was getting frequently turned out by his co-lead (the actor who plays Ray/Captain Man) when they were shooting it.

R38 both 'Henry Danger' and 'Danger Force' are really funny and even quite clever and subversive at times, provided you see them as parodies/send-ups of classic superhero shows with all their silly tropes. You can't take it that seriously, or expect logic from it, but if you can put that aside, it's a genuinely good time.

And there's even a little bit of drama and touching character-building buried in all wacky weirdness and satire. The relationship between Henry (Jace's character) and Ray (Cooper Barnes) is sweet and affectionate.

I watched Henry Danger for the first time this weekend. I knew DL wouldn’t disappoint. Fuck Jace is sexy especially when he’s wearing his Henry Danger costume. He looked older than the 16-18 yr old I saw on screen. Yes, I felt icky thinking he was hot at that age which I didn’t know at the time. He’s 23 now and the show was canceled in 2019. I thought it was still airing new episodes.

R81 watching the series in general gives me discomfort when I remember the relative ages of Jace & Cooper.

The show definitely wasn’t afraid to lean into the angle that Ray is very physically/emotionally attracted to and possessive over Henry, though it’s thankfully not made explicit in text until the last season when Henry/Jace is of age.
