A lot of hate groups meet in prison. The quote below is from the Wikipedia entry on Black Hebrew Israelites and the link shows some of the white hate groups.
According to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), "Some, but not all [Black Hebrew Israelites], are outspoken anti-Semites and racists."[15] As of December 2019, the Southern Poverty Law Center "lists 144 Black Hebrew Israelite organizations as black separatist hate groups because of their antisemitic and anti-white beliefs".[16]

The same thing happened with Kyrie Irving. He still hasn't made a legitimate apology but he's done enough to get unsuspended, which basically just involved him getting incredibly vague about what he really believes (which is almost certainly that whites/jews are satanic monsters created by the scientist Yakub, and that only black africans are the true children of god). Another player Jalen Brown for the Boston Celtics also openly supports this ideology but he hasn't been disciplined.

[quote]R6/R14: I don't know any.
If that's the case, then it sounds like your own personal experience is insufficient to be able to reliably say that "there is no wellspring of anti-semitism among Blacks."
[quote]This is a false flag.
I don't think you know what a 'false flag' is supposed to be.
[quote]Whenever convenient, Blacks are scapegoated for everything -- homophobia, anti-Asian hate, etc.
You don't really seem to understand what 'scapegoating' is, either - or speaking of a group, the difference between 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒, 𝑎𝑙𝑙, and 𝑛𝑜𝑛𝑒. Victimhood, though - you've got that down.
The Nation of Islam actively proselytized among urban Blacks since the 1930s, and Blacks did not need to actually join them in order to be aware of their ideas - these memetically trickled throughout Black society, in many cases, without people necessarily being aware of where they'd come from. (I've encountered some 'Nation' ideas repeated by Jehovah's Witnesses, who had no idea where they'd picked it up. None of these groups developed inside a vacuum.) So, it doesn't matter how "small" the sect is. Your analogy, "it's like suggesting all white people are Mormons," is a poor one, since the vast majority of whites (excepting those who just rolled off the turnip truck, proverbially speaking) are aware of Mormons, and may even be somewhat sympathetic to some of their ideas, without being aware that they had their origins among the LDS.
A "wellspring of antisemitism" need not find its origins among people of any particular ethnicity, white or black, but instead in a literary source commonly reverenced by both - like the Bible. How do you think passages like Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 have been understood by various people reading them?
[quote]Revelation 2:9 - I know your tribulation and poverty--but you are rich--and the blasphemy of those claiming themselves to be Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
[quote]Revelation 3:9 - Look at those who belong to the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews but are liars instead. I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and they will know that I love you.
What do you reckon these passages mean?

The problem with that is that any venue whose input comes from online sources can and will be gamed by trolls. It's not a suitable way to assess public opinion.

Jew hatred is entrenched in US culture. The black community is as poisoned by it as every other community. Thus the wellspring of popular support for Jew hating turds like Kanye, due to its social acceptability. What is complete nonsense is blaming "mental deficiency" for publicly-expressed Jew hatred. Where Jew hatred is concerned, Kanye and many other scum in the black community just like him aren't "deranged", they're simply spewing what they know will garner them lots of public affirmation and scant public censure.

"Antisemite" is an ambiguous, nebulous term adopted because it didn't overly berate or insult those on whose goodwill Jews depended. Jew hatred is far more accurate but far too accusatory, forcing Jew haters to confront exactly what they are. And no one wants to do that.

[quote] The root word Semite gives the false impression that antisemitism is directed against all Semitic people, e.g., including Arabs, Assyrians, and Arameans. The compound word Antisemitismus ('antisemitism') was first used in print in Germany in 1879[7] as a scientific-sounding term for Judenhass ('Jew-hatred'),[8][9][10][11][12] and this has been its common use since then.[8][13][14]

This is the demonic black Twitter this guy is talking about…..
As with the epidemic of lynching, rape and kidnapping of Black women, it was the Black press that connected Adolf Hitler’s campaign of genocide against Jews with white supremacy long before their mainstream white counterparts were willing to articulate the same in print.
“… for the most part, white southern newspaper editorials condemned Nazi racism but refused to acknowledge the obvious similarities between the German racial system and that of the South in the 1930s,” Johnpeter Horst Grill and Robert L. Jenkins wrote in The Journal of Southern History. “On the other hand, to the chagrin of liberal southern editors, black newspapers made comparisons between German and southern racism as early as 1933 and continued to do so consistently thereafter. Understandably, the black press often referred to the hypocrisy inherent in the anti-Nazi rhetoric of the region and its practices toward blacks.”

R52 Jews in Europe spent centuries being segregated in ghettoes, in towns and villages away from the Xtian population. Jews were forced to wear special clothing and badges to make them visible to non-Jews so that they could be shunned. Due to this, Jews were easy to recognize and locate, as everyone knew what neighborhoods, towns and villages the Jews lived in. And there were plenty of Xtians to point out exactly who/where Jews were, if there were any confusion.

Again, the late and brilliant James Baldwin explained this better in 1967 than anyone has been able to today.
[quote] All racist positions baffle and appall me. None of us are that different from one another, neither that much better nor that much worse. Furthermore, when one takes a position one must attempt to see where that position inexorably leads. One must ask oneself, if one decides that black or white or Jewish people are, by definition, to be despised, is one willing to murder a black or white or Jewish baby: for that is where the position leads. And if one blames the Jew for having become a white American, one may perfectly well, if one is black, be speaking out of nothing more than envy.
If one blames the Jew for not having been ennobled by oppression, one is not indicting the single figure of the Jew but the entire human race, and one is also making a quite breathtaking claim for oneself. I know that my own oppression did not ennoble me, not even when I thought of myself as a practicing Christian. I also know that if today I refuse to hate Jews, or anybody else, it is because I know how it feels to be hated. I learned this from Christians, and I ceased to practice what the Christians practiced.
The crisis taking place in the world, and in the minds and hearts of black men everywhere, is not produced by the star of David, but by the old, rugged Roman cross on which Christendom's most celebrated Jew was murdered. And not by Jews.

So Kanye is apparently the worst person alive, but Stephen Miller who literally created policy to specifically target non-whites including ripping children from their parents, doesn't get to lose his livelihood and still gets to be a frequent guest on FOX where Kanye is no longer allowed.
Explain the difference to me between the two. And if you stupidly think I'm defending Kanye, you've already lost the argument. I'm asking why it's OK to be hateful towards certain groups and you get to become president of the United States or keep your job, but if you target other groups, you lose everything.
What exactly is the difference between a Stephen Miller and a Nick Fuentes except that Miller had actually gotten to enact his racism and bigotry into policy?

Antisemitism started picking up with Tea Partiers a long time ago. I remember they would troll my local newspaper forums, Fark, and even a crochet forum I went to with photos of antisemitic Nazi posters and give themselves names with "bunker" or "88" in it. It just picked up speed with QAnon, which uses a lot of really old WWI-era antisemitism tropes that have been slightly repackaged.
The Black Twitter influencers who are all in on Kanye's antisemitism are using QAnon tropes to justify what he's said. They have a whole conspiracy theory about how Kanye knew the Jews at Balenciaga were trafficking children, so he went after them and they immediately tried to take him down, but Kanye was one step ahead of them and leaked those photos which were basically advertisements for children who were being pimped out by the Jews and/or Balenciaga.
There may be some Black Hebrew Israelite influence in there, but I'd bet it's all QAnon.

r74 you think zionism = supremacist?
by Anonymous | reply 83 | November 29, 2022 5:44 PM |
In all my life, I can't recall ever having heard anyone express anti-Semitism. On the one hand, it's like something that exists, you just can't see it. On the other, it's hard to believe there really are people that think that way.

I still remember when the mayor of my fucking shithole town posted "der ewige jude" Nazi posters on the local newspaper forums, and no one really cared at the time. That was about 2008 and I was shocked, I hadn't seen significant antisemitism in public since I was a little kid in the South in the 1970s. I thought that part of history was behind us, but it obviously is not.

^^^^ Ever-delusional R87 resurrects one of his non-existent posters of various identities and political ideologies. No surprise.

R55 So basically, they were treated like black people except instead of people identifying them by skin color, they had to wear badges.
R74 Exactly, this is someone who wants to pretend Jews have clean hands. Jews are NOT at the bottom of anything in the US. Ghettos, poverty, employment, education, prison, anything.
Therefore they cannot be the most discriminated against in the US.
I understand Anti-semitism exists today but what effect does it have on the Jewish community? Because it’s not oppression.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | November 30, 2022 7:45 AM |
And yeah Ben Shapiro is one of the most prominent faces of white supremacy today.

R64 Woody Allen and George Plimpton look like white guys to me.
I can’t tell Jews apart from other white people. The other day when I was YouTube surfing I was surprised to find out Paul Rudd was Jewish.
I can’t tell.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | November 30, 2022 7:59 AM |
R64 actually made the argument that Jews are discriminated against because some, like Woody Allen, look more Jew-y that others?
This can’t be for real. That’s straight out of the eugenics handbook. What’s next, phrenology?

If we’re going to continue with the same logic in this thread, then I guess people should quit whining about black people in poverty because Oprah has money.

[quote]You're telling me you can't tell Woody Allen and George Plimpton aren't the same type of white?
I grew up with mostly generic looking pale caucasians and my mother never commented on ethnicities, so I just assume everyone is white. Who sits around analyzing and categorizing levels of pastiness?

R89, a threat of mass murder was made by a white supremacist in New York earlier this month. It was not an idle threat; he had acquired weapons on mass murder.
The worst anti-Semitic mass murder in U.S. history took place in 2018, also by a white supremacacist/believer in “white genocide,” at a synagogue in Pennsylvania.
by Anonymous | reply 95 | November 30, 2022 10:05 PM |
R95 Yeah that’s not a good answer.
Jews are not the most oppressed or discriminated in the US. At all.
And it also plays into your anti-black racism.

by Anonymous | reply 99 | November 30, 2022 11:25 PM |
These hate groups also feed on one another and make each other more hateful. There are tons of people spamming the internet with anti black racism, which obviously feeds anti white racism.

Then perhaps many Jews shouldn't have been at the forefront of enabling its rise. We're also supposed to weep over antisemitism when (Ashkenazi) Jews themselves have done things like below, because I guess when your agenda is to vilify other groups and participate in the rise of Trump's political career, you ignore things that Jews themselves have done by absolving Hitler and/or embrace Nazi ideology the way Stephen Miller, Andrew Breitbart, Ben Shapiro, Laura Loomer, etc, have done. You ignore the fact that right-leaning Jewish organizations like AIPAC or RJC FUNDED Trump's rise and only when they're on the receiving end of the monster they helped create, do they actually give a shit about "hate." So fucking selfish.

by Anonymous | reply 103 | November 30, 2022 11:57 PM |
R103, well so the fuck what? What kind of bullshit response is that? You think that absolves the Jewish people who *today* literally create racist and bigoted policies like Stephen Miller has? Are you familiar with teh types of people Larry Kudlow "pals around" with?
Pointing to good Jewish people from the past doesn't absolve the bad ones who are literally a part of the current white supremacist movement and have been for years now. WTF can't we discuss it? Is it just easier for you to go after bad black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Muslim people and just pretend every Jewish person on earth is a victim of antisemitism?
People like you gleefully went after Rashida Tlaib who never fucking said anything antisemitic. You seem to think simply acknowledging her heritage is antisemitic. I'm sure you're thrilled Ilhan Omar will be off committees because she's the REAL threat to Jews in this country, not people like Ben Shapiro who literally befriends white supremacists. Congrats on MTG soon to get a gavel along with Paul Gosar.

[quote]R41: The Bible passages quoted above [@R16] seem to be about people pretending to be Jews, not about Jews.
And who do you think was doing that at a point contemporary with the passage? I cannot think of anyone who would.
The author(s) of those passages was ostensibly Christian, so it is rather unlikely that they were indicting the Church for its doctrine of supersessionism (the claim that Christians had replaced the Jews as God's chosen, so that Catholics had become the ones that "say they are Jews and are not," KJV). A minority view has posited that 'Revelation' was originally a Jewish apocalypse later taken over by Christian authors and given a veneer of Christianity through interpolation (adding the name 'Jesus Christ', etc) to try to justify this interpretation. I once toyed with this theory, but now find it less probable.
A more likely view is that the author(s) of Revelation were themselves supersessionist Christians, and had taken the final step in appropriation, attempting to deprive Jews of even the appellation "Jew", so that the so-called imposters were real Jews, people who had less than no standing in the eyes of the Church. The prediction (3:9) was to be that Jews would eventually be forced to bow down and acknowledge the preeminence of the Church as the recipient of God's favor - and as such, helped provide a map for policy for the Church regarding Jews.
