He really was beautiful.
Yes he was, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | November 27, 2022 6:10 PM |
Agreed.
Sadly, he now looks like a lesbian.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 27, 2022 6:12 PM |
Talented singer, guitarist and arranger. But he seems like he's got issues.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 27, 2022 6:13 PM |
He's the kind of beautiful mess you fuck a few times over a weekend, and then NEVER take their call again.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 27, 2022 6:14 PM |
He was sexy for a (very) short while, that's for sure.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 27, 2022 6:17 PM |
Very sexy until recently. He was still hot when was on snl 9 years ago.. His upper face looks weird now
by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 27, 2022 6:33 PM |
He was hot for like five minutes.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | November 27, 2022 6:45 PM |
He was hot for most of his career
by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 27, 2022 6:48 PM |
Shorter hair Hold Me video look in white linen and vests look.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 27, 2022 6:49 PM |
Agreed R8
by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 27, 2022 6:49 PM |
He is entering Kenny Rogers's territory.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 27, 2022 6:54 PM |
He was hot during the ""Law and Order" period. And by "Go Insane" he was already losing it. Though the song "Go Insane" is better than "Trouble."
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 27, 2022 6:55 PM |
Yes, he really was.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 27, 2022 6:55 PM |
he's such a jerk
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 27, 2022 6:55 PM |
He now looks like the Bride of Frankenstein.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 27, 2022 6:57 PM |
His late 70s / early 80s look was the best.
At the time of the Tusk album he had shaved his beard and cut his hair. Sometimes he was trying too hard to pursue the glam look of the younger artists. In the early 80s (his early 30s), he moved away from the glam into a softer, more natural look.
Unfortunately towards the late 80s, he grew that embarrassing haircut was was very high on top buy short on the sides. It seemed inspired by Robert Smith, but it looked more like Kramer from Seinfeld.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 27, 2022 7:00 PM |
He looks like a smoothed over version of ferrt-faced Bradley Cooper.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 27, 2022 7:35 PM |
^ *ferret
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 27, 2022 7:37 PM |
That is probably him at his best, but I have never considered him very attractive.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 27, 2022 8:19 PM |
I never considered anyone in Fleetwood Mac that hot. The dirty hippie look served a select few men well (George Harrison was gorgeous with his long hair), but the rest....no.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 27, 2022 8:21 PM |
{r13} well the vid i posted was 5 years later so i disagree
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 28, 2022 12:08 AM |
r22
Compare him in that video to him at the time he recorded "Law and Order," the decline is very noticable.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 28, 2022 1:28 PM |
He's an abusive prick. Fuck that guy
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 28, 2022 8:09 PM |
Who did he beat? His current wife seems to adore him @R24
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 29, 2022 4:22 AM |
{r24} is a Stevie chiffon head queen. they are the worst! They are just like Trumpers, who if Trump SHOT someone they would still suck his dick. Same thing. That cunt got Lindsey FIRED from FM even though HE is reason she is in the band AT ALL. She's a CUNT. MAJOR CUNT
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 29, 2022 7:01 AM |
That series of classic Hollywood inspired photos, one of which was chosen for the cover of the Trouble LP, compelled me to buy it.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 29, 2022 11:12 AM |
R25 "Adore" might be a stretch. They were going to divorce last year, now have reconciled.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | November 29, 2022 11:15 AM |
He was exploited at his finest in the nude shoot, floating in the pool with his guitar covering the naughty bits.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 29, 2022 11:19 AM |
In r7 ‘s photo he looks like a refugee from Mitchfest.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 29, 2022 11:43 AM |
That “Law and Order” cover photo was shot by the legendary Hollywood photographer, George Hurrell.
Didn’t Buckingham also date Anne Heche?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 29, 2022 11:48 AM |
R7: isn't that a photo of beloved Miss Marple actress Joan Hickson?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 29, 2022 12:37 PM |
He liked to beat his women. I wonder how his wife fared?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 30, 2022 12:47 AM |
When did that come out? @R34
by Anonymous | reply 35 | November 30, 2022 4:15 AM |
He kicked, punched and choked her onstage. He wasn't hiding it. His Stevie lookalike girlfriend wrote a whole book about what a prick he is.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | November 30, 2022 4:21 AM |
He looks like Dusty's ex Carole Pope now.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 30, 2022 5:03 AM |
He looks like a more sinister version of the already sinister handsome guy from Always Sunny.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | November 30, 2022 6:26 AM |
r35
He's like me only not pseudo-Jewish
by Anonymous | reply 39 | November 30, 2022 2:03 PM |
He sounds like a true piece of work. It sounds like the other members of Fleetwood Mac were just dealing with his shittiness.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 30, 2022 2:22 PM |
just *done* dealing with his shittiness
by Anonymous | reply 41 | November 30, 2022 2:25 PM |
I love watching the video for “Silver Springs” for the sparks between Lindsey and Stevie.
She sings “YOU’LL NEVER GET AWAY” while facing him and it looks like he’s thinking, “Fuck she’s right, I will never be rid of her.”
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 30, 2022 2:37 PM |
R42 Such a phenomenal performance
by Anonymous | reply 43 | December 4, 2022 5:07 AM |
I wonder if Lindsey and Stevie have picked up the phone to reach out to one another to grieve. Maybe this will be the catalyst for them to put aside their differences and put them on the journey back to forgiveness.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | December 4, 2022 6:50 AM |
R44 Or does it even matter at this point
by Anonymous | reply 45 | December 4, 2022 1:44 PM |
It's a shame about his micropenis.
But at least he was orally generous.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 4, 2022 1:47 PM |
R44 I was thinking the exact same thing. If Christine’s death doesn’t help them bury the hatchet I suppose nothing will. I’m just glad Christine came back to the group one last time before her death. I think the prospects for a final FM tour are low at this point, even if Lindsey rejoins. John McVie isn’t in the best of health, and of course Buckingham had open heart surgery, so his health could go either way. CM is an intergral part of the group. It’s just not the same without her. Better to just rely on the music and memories.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | December 4, 2022 2:19 PM |
Yeah, FM as a group is truly done.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | December 4, 2022 2:23 PM |
Well he's old now and he might have been an jerk years ago,but he was gorgeous back then. Especially with that afro.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | December 4, 2022 2:27 PM |
Watching the videos for Trouble and Slow Dancing convinced me that he has some plastic surgery at some point during the early 80's.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | December 4, 2022 2:30 PM |
R50 I think the same thing - a minor facelift or something
by Anonymous | reply 51 | December 4, 2022 2:40 PM |
I don't think he's had super recent work done tho, what with the almost dying & everything
by Anonymous | reply 52 | December 4, 2022 2:49 PM |
Christine’s passing should put the nail in any touring coffin for Fleetwood Mac. Her Mac catalogue has grown in popularity and maintains serious radio play, namely Everywhere. Even before that car commercial, it was in heavy rotation. Cutting her songs from a set list, even if they reconcile with Lindsey for a pure cash grab, would make for such an anemic live experience. I mean… do we really need to hear the interminably long live versions of I’m So Afraid, Big Love and Gold Dust Woman at this point? I think not. I’ll just turn to Live (1980) and The Dance (1997) if I want to enjoy them live.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | December 4, 2022 2:53 PM |
R53 well they carried on 16 years without her when she left the group, so never say never, but like I said above the chances are minimal, even for a cash grab. The dynamic has shifted now, what with her death, and the health of JM and LB.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | December 4, 2022 4:35 PM |
R53 The last tour was embarrassing enough, I hope to god they don't even consider another one
by Anonymous | reply 55 | December 4, 2022 10:06 PM |
I think Christine’s death just reaffirms that she was the heart of the group. Yes Stevie will be the most famous but so many of Christine’s FM songs became radio staples over the years. I realize those are the ones I go back to.
Frankly Lindsey and Stevie have tired me out with their petty drama.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | December 5, 2022 12:07 AM |
But Stevie and Lindsey’s songs are way better. C McV had many hits but her voice was so dull compared to the others.
She always sounds like a backup singer finally allowed to sing lead.
Seems most feel differently, as she had the most hits.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | December 5, 2022 4:36 PM |
Christine McVie had a distinctive, immediately recognizable voice. Nothing about it was "dull," R57. What a load of crap.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | December 5, 2022 4:39 PM |
How big is his cock?
by Anonymous | reply 59 | December 5, 2022 4:49 PM |
Christine was closer to Lindsey. She always had been. She said this past summer that she hadn’t heard from Stevie in years.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | December 5, 2022 4:52 PM |
I meant to say that between Stevie and Lindsey, Christine was closer to Lindsey. They were still in constant contact.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | December 5, 2022 4:54 PM |
R60 Link to her saying that? I saw a video of Stevie early 2022 in which she is asked about current artists she likes, and says something along the lines of "Christine and I were talking the other day about a band she really enjoys, and she sent me a few things to listen to..." I'll try to find the source.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | December 5, 2022 4:57 PM |
Supposedly Christine and Stevie stopped talking in the 80s when Stevie was at the height of her coke addiction, but they became very close in the last ten years.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | December 5, 2022 5:07 PM |
Thanks for that article, R63. I noticed the "In 2015, a year after she'd rejoined Fleetwood Mac, McVie hit the road with her bandmates. Touring with the group was tiring but fun, the first time they'd performed together in years. "I'm only here for Stevie," she told the New Yorker that year."
by Anonymous | reply 64 | December 5, 2022 5:09 PM |
This band should be over now. But the band will never be over as long as Mick Fleetwood is alive. He's always looking for the next cash grab. I wouldn't be surprised if he hired 5 musicians and went on the road doing a Christine tribute tour.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | December 5, 2022 5:11 PM |
R65 Wouldn't surprise me - but surely he has enough damn money now?!
by Anonymous | reply 66 | December 5, 2022 5:12 PM |
He was quite handsome for a short while - always had great eyes, I think
by Anonymous | reply 67 | December 5, 2022 5:18 PM |
I know R58, it’s hard to process, but people have different taste and opinions. I guess if it’s not your opinion, it’s a bad one. According to you.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | December 5, 2022 5:19 PM |
R66 I think it’s out of boredom too. A lot of money is fine, but Mick and the rest of the band love performing live. It’s really not too far fetched that he would get at least Stevie to do a tour, along with Mike Campbell and Neil Finn to hit the road again. As far as Lindsey and John it’s unlikely, but while they’re still alive, never say never.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | December 5, 2022 5:22 PM |
R62 it was in a Rolling Stone article this past summer. The link is in the Christine is dead to me thread.
