So when do we actually see them.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | November 22, 2022 8:35 PM |
Boy, can that clown drag shit out or what?!
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 22, 2022 8:36 PM |
Republicans are gonna be in charge of the House in a month. They're not going to do anything with this.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 22, 2022 8:39 PM |
Yes they are, r3.
They will use this to get Biden’s tax return.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 22, 2022 8:41 PM |
R4, are you serious? You do know Biden already released his returns, right?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 22, 2022 8:42 PM |
^ Um, we've already seen Biden's tax returns 🙄
by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 22, 2022 8:43 PM |
So, Trump is a lying motherfucker, we know this; he's also a treasonous, attempted murderous motherfucker as well. The Republican party doesn't seem to care.
Somehow whoever the "THEY" in real power is (it's not the American people) let him get away with this. So I won't hold my breath on his tax return.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | November 22, 2022 8:45 PM |
Hunter Biden’s
by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 22, 2022 8:45 PM |
You are the meanest person ever R8.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 22, 2022 8:47 PM |
Well, at least this gives someone time to leak them to the world.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 22, 2022 9:00 PM |
It would be a shame if we found how tiny it really was!
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 22, 2022 9:08 PM |
[quote]So when do we actually see them.
"We" do not see them.
The House Ways and Means Committee sees them.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 22, 2022 9:12 PM |
Enough of our rolling over for these elected miscreants and their appointees, it's high time for a tax revolt on April 15, 2023.
No taxation without representation!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 22, 2022 9:19 PM |
We may not get to see them, but the info they provide will leak eventually and the world will see what a fraud and con artist Trump is.
I'll bet his asshole is puckered right now.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 22, 2022 9:22 PM |
I don't pay taxes. That doesn't make me a criminal - that makes me smart.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 22, 2022 9:29 PM |
I'm shocked Clarence MAGA Thomas didn't throw some last minute fuckery.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 22, 2022 9:31 PM |
What with all the pressure on Thomas and his slag wife, and the recent revelations about Thomas' cohort on the bench, I imagine he and the rest of the right wing judges are being extra careful about what they rule against right now.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 22, 2022 9:39 PM |
Actually, any justices inclined to dissent were probably like, hmm, enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday or writing a dissent for that asshole. I do have clerks, but... Fuck it, it's cranberry and stuffing time!
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 22, 2022 9:45 PM |
Didn’t the NYT already write extensively on copies of the tax returns? Not sure how this relates to January 6 committee.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 22, 2022 9:45 PM |
[quote]We may not get to see them, but the info they provide will leak eventually and the world will see what a fraud and con artist Trump is.
Yeah, this'll be the end of him!
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 22, 2022 9:49 PM |
Engoron is fed the fuck up with Trump delays.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 22, 2022 9:55 PM |
I have heard some talk that the Jan 6 committee may move over to the Senate. Not sure how that works.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 22, 2022 9:58 PM |
Can the new “Animal House Majority” (barely), suppress these returns from the public?
Is trump shitting in his pants (again), or is he clicking his heels awaiting his boot-licking maga congress to take over on January 3 and do more of his dirty work?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 22, 2022 10:01 PM |
One set of laws for the wealthy and one for the rabble. This is what a big part of the French Revolution was about equality under the law. The royals were going around raping and pillaging while the average person was being raped and pillaged. Sound familiar?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 22, 2022 10:04 PM |
I don't know, the "new" Republican congress is shifting their loyalty to DeSantis, they might not get in the way of any Trump investigation
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 22, 2022 10:19 PM |
If Trump outs Penjce, and a couple of other Republicans, I'd be fine with that.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 22, 2022 10:36 PM |
@r29, Now, a warning? 🙄
That asshole help create the monster who is Trump
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 22, 2022 10:38 PM |
the enemy of my enemy is my friend
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 22, 2022 10:39 PM |
I hate Bill “No Barr” Too Low. All he’s done is tried to distance himself from TFG in the hopes that he will not also be indicted, what a fucking joke this country is now!!!! And Barr will get away with it, that’s what is so maddening!
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 22, 2022 10:53 PM |
^ take a Klonopin, hun
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 22, 2022 10:54 PM |
Color me surprised that they Supreme Court ruled this way since we know Clarence sides with him on principle and 3 others owe him their jobs.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | November 22, 2022 10:55 PM |
I actually just got high, as you can see, nothing works for me anymore. Sorry, sincerely.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | November 22, 2022 10:56 PM |
Trying desperately to distract from Hunter Biden's laptop and the investigation that is coming for them.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 22, 2022 10:56 PM |

I am wondering whether after their Roe decision, the others aren't a bit concerned about overturning anything political they don't like?

[quote]I am wondering whether after their Roe decision, the others aren't a bit concerned about overturning anything political they don't like?
I am no opposed to overturning Supreme Court precedent - I mean, Dred Scott.
What I'm opposed to is the lack of compelling legal argument behind overturning Roe, as well as many other precedents that are built on the same underlying argument as Roe.
It's the willy nilly disregard for law and willingness to make a completely political decision that should trouble everyone.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | November 23, 2022 12:16 AM |
The USSC is done with Trump, largely because all his legal arguments are bogus. He’s losing every case he puts in front of them but it’s because his arguments are so bogus and weak.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | November 23, 2022 12:38 AM |
When he’s in stripes I’ll buy Dl a round of bubbly. Except you trump lovers you can drink my piss.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | November 23, 2022 12:47 AM |

I guess SCOTUS got their marching papers from the RNC powers that be.

C'MOOOOOON PETTY REVENGE
by Anonymous | reply 50 | November 23, 2022 3:45 AM |
I can’t recall the Supreme Court ever giving Trump a good decision. It’s a delay tactic for him but it’s also the end of the line for him. Correct me if I am wrong but they never have ruled for him.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | November 23, 2022 3:57 AM |
They better hand over the tax returns before January...before McCarthy and repubs take over. Always at the last moment...
by Anonymous | reply 52 | November 23, 2022 12:51 PM |
[quote] The House Ways and Means Committee sees them.
They will 'leak' and then we can let the Republican-led house holding hearings about how they leaked and we'll be like "probably the Repuublicans leaked them so they could have these pointless hearings."
by Anonymous | reply 53 | November 23, 2022 1:31 PM |
I believe Roberts had to call him out for trashing the Court like he did political opponents at one point?
