Chocolate Covered Cherries

They just ooze cherry juice all over you. I know youse gays are used to getting oozed on but really.

They are a decadent treat. I love them, but only once a year for something this fattening.

I saw some at TJ’s.

by Anonymousreply 2November 20, 2022 9:48 PM

The only cherry I've ever enjoyed busting open.

by Anonymousreply 3November 20, 2022 9:57 PM

what we get ozzed on is nutritious & full of protein, not diabetes juices like yours ops, so we would not know

I loved Cellas

by Anonymousreply 5November 20, 2022 11:23 PM

Agreed, R5, Cella’s are the best. The Queen Anne creme-centered ones are terrible.

by Anonymousreply 6November 20, 2022 11:29 PM

I will fat whore for these all holiday season.

We used to get box each year for Christmas & I always remember thinking it was a fancy treat. I tried one of the typical boxed kind recently & it was just disgusting, even by cheap candy standards. I'd like to find some high end chocolate covered cherries, just for old time's sake

by Anonymousreply 8November 20, 2022 11:47 PM

But what about the creme? White or clear? I like both.

by Anonymousreply 9November 21, 2022 12:03 AM

I almost died from eating one of them when I was a kid. I bit into it and the syrup inside shot down my throat and started a choking/coughing spell that lasted about 5 minutes. This has happened a few times... that super-sweet juice triggers some kind of weird response. Almost dying is an exaggeration, but it feels like it when you're 10 years old and can't breath from a piece of candy.

Loved them as a kid. Not now, too sweet.

These chocolate-covered cherries don't ooze. Really good. They also come in the bright red color (chocolate is dyed red).

I pop the whole chocolate into my mouth and eat it. The cherry juice melts in my mouth, not in my hands.

by Anonymousreply 14November 21, 2022 1:33 AM

You put the whole thing in your mouth at once. You don't take dainty bites.

by Anonymousreply 15November 21, 2022 1:37 AM

Stick the box in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. The creme and cherry juice will thicken sufficiently that it won't run all over you.

Oohh, the naughty things Donnie & I do with a box of chocolate 🍫 covered cherries 🍒. I shan’t tell, hehe.
