I worked closely with a much, much younger, married straight guy with whom I developed intense feelings. We were so obviously connected that he would volunteer to others of our bromance. When our work situation briefly separated ourselves, he welcomed me back on my return in a most romantic voice, “Welcome home.” And yes, he would go on & on about my looks. How I was pretty enough to be in front of the camera & that I could model for J Crew. Almost ten years later, he’s still never far from my thoughts.
