This is fascinating. And very unexpected. These days the white male actors are losing their roles to the Latin actors. Or black actors. Or to women. Who knew that half the British Aristocracy in the 19th century was Black and Asian. Doctor Who had a sex change (sort of) and most of the authors of the Declaration of Independence were black after all. What was all the fuss about?

There are generations of Mexicans that have lived in CA before it was even a state. Many intermarried very early on. America is a melting pot and you really cant tell half the time who has some Mexican blood and who does not. Sure there are SOME who look darker or have more pronounced features, but that's not even the norm these days unless they just came over the boarder. Most "Mexicans" I know are half white and cant even speak a word of Spanish.

Anyone can state anything about anyone else and be instantly believed. Without mentioning the director, however, it’s just another instance of an actor’s self-absorption. Name the person! This way you give the director a chance to redeem or even explain himself or herself, but also give credence to your claim. Losing a movie role (even for the most awful reasons) is hardly the crime of the century. Even Joan Crawford got over losing the role of “that egghead dame” Marie Curie to Greer Garson.

As for Mexicans in the US,the vast vast majority of them are mestizos. They don't look white at all. Meaning they don't even look White European. Some of them look Gypsy(who are originally from India) and possibly Tartars(who are part Mongoloid). Even some of them are confused for South Asians. But of European descent no....

He’s been honest in recent years and even admitted to using creams and avoiding the sun to make sure he could keep his skin as pale as possible to be able to get roles, because if he left his skin darker he wouldn’t get work at all. Even with the paler complexion he still was constantly denied work.

In LA white people own million dollar homes, people with brown skin clean them. Never seen a black maid in LA cleaning a white person's house. Maybe it's a southern thing.
