I only use it for tracking twinky, likely-closeted celebs.

I love Twitter. I follow a lot of journalists and sources of good information. Also made online friends with several child stars who were popular when I was a kid. I'll miss it.

I have a Twitter account, but I don't tweet. I use it as a news source.

Same, I followed a bunch of random Australian accounts. It shocked me to learn Australia is enduring all of the same political and social problems including inflation as America. Australia just got rid of their own version of Donald Trump.

Just a burner account for porn.

I follow 98% for porn.

I never saw the porn unless I clicked on a link from datalounge. I love the idea adult content was accessible but hidden just out of reach over there.

A couple of my Facebook friends have Twitter accounts where they post nudes of themselves, so I made a fake account to follow them.

I made a mistake by closing the account before downloading and saving my data.

Saving your data allows you to potentially import the data into another portal and reconnect with your contacts elsewhere.

As of right now, Twitter is finished and there is no replacement for Twitter. But maybe. Someday. Another platform offering a public square type forum will exist.

I deleted my account a month or so ago and I miss what it once was. It was great for news and politics. Some people were so funny. But I won't support what it has become.

Twitter is the largest porno site on the web.

I respect Elton John for just closing the account in a dignified manner. Twitter was an invaluable platform for a brand to speak directly to its audience.

Haven't been there in over a week and I find myself not missing it at all. I do miss the pre-2016 Twitter, though. But, it's just another lesson in not getting attached to any of these platforms, whether that's Twitter, TWOP, the IMDb boards, or DL.

Itching to tweet. Going into Twitter withdrawal. Datalounge is just for gossip. Twitter was a great source of information for me.
