Can we take a few posts to discuss the hotness of Ray Winstone from "sexy beast" ? back in the day, I was all hot and bothered everytime he was on the big screen. Surely I'm not the only one ? WHET him ?
Sexy Beast was Kingsley's film. Winstone paled in comparison.
Windstone dicked around TV forever, finally made the transition to film, but never really got beyond the good journeyman actor. Though he was excellent in Compulsion.

Bumping this because I just watched Sexy Beast again, and it's sadly overlooked. There's something so cool about Ray's look in that film, but Ben Kingsley takes everyone's lunch. He's electric. This scene is equal parts terrifying and hilarious. Ian McShane is also super intimidating in this film.

Ray Winstone is the UK version of James Gandolfini. Not conventionally handsome but oozing sex appeal. Just like the late Bob Hoskins.
