My apologies.

Petula Clark was urged to move to the US by her record label in the name of greater potential success. Her French husband kiboshed the idea so it never happened.

her real name is Agnes

Singing with Lucy in a cast. Why didn't Claude tell her not to do this?

Happy Birthday

She was good in "Finian's Rainbow." She should've done more movies.

A faint memory from childhood - wasn’t she a spokeswoman for Burlington?

OP what do you mean Google lied to you? You're wishing her a Happy Birthday and you have no idea what she looks like?

Are you the dope who thinks Desi Arnez and Laurence Harvey look exactly alike?

by Anonymousreply 23November 15, 2022 10:12 PM

I worked for several years in a building in Geneva where she had the penthouse. Never saw her once.

by Anonymousreply 24November 15, 2022 10:23 PM

She acted in one of my favorite movies, “I Know Where I’m Going” which was made in 1945 I think with the marvelous Roger Livesey, Wendy Hiller, and Pamela Brown. They’re all long since passed away. I would’ve thought Pet Clark was at least 110.

by Anonymousreply 25November 15, 2022 11:10 PM

Op sure is a dumbass.

Sean Connery confessed that reaming Petula Clark’s asshole out serruptitiously at a public event was the best fuck of his life.

Reminds me that guy in Nashville (or Memphis?) blew himself and his dogs up on Christmas while blaring Downtown.

I Know Where I'm Going is one of my favorite films as well. She is great on the soundtrack of Finian's Rainbow. Would listen to it all the time as a kid. Too bad the movie isn't half as good.
