Does Netflix have any films in Oscar contention this year?

They usually have something they push.

They have the Knives Out sequel, which got great reviews but is still a murder mystery sequel. They also have Bardo, the first film by Innaritu since The Revenant, but it flopped during its festival run, and White Noise by Noah Baumbach, which was also considered a disappointment. There’s also Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, which might be their best shot at a win, in Animated Feature.

They really don’t have anything like a Power of the Dog or Irishman this year.
