This shows audience just keeps growing every season. Wow. I’ve never watched it but a lot of people I know love it!
Is it worth it?

Very worth it. I was late to the game, but binged watched it last year and was hooked. I'm going to hold off on this season until it's over.
I just discovered The Sopranos and been enjoying binging it as well.

R1 wait, just discovered it as in finally watching it or just discovered it as in just learned of its existence?

Sorry, I was aware it was on HBO back in the day, I just never watched it back then. I'm finally watching it now.

Yellowstone is very popular generally, but it is not very popular in the coastal cities. You aren't going to see a lot of Yellowstone chatter among the NY or LA crowd.

I watch it, but mostly for the scenery, I think the writing is all over the place. But I do love the pitch creator Taylor Sheridan made to Paramount:
You will have no part in any of this, he told them—except for footing the bill. I will write and direct all the episodes of the show. There will be no writers’ room. There will be no notes from studio executives. No one will see an outline.
“It’s going to cost $90–$100 million,” he says he told them. “You’re going to be writing a check for horses that’s $50–$75,000 a week.” You really want to do this?

It's "Dynasty" meets "Longmire."

I've never seen it. I'm not much for Westerns in general. At some point I may binge the first season to see if it's worth it but there's no hurry.

I enjoyed the first 3 seasons of the show since I lived in rural New Mexico, home of big cattle ranches and a large Native population. The mountains and sky in New Mexico are beautiful and this show features beautiful western scenery. However, I got tired of the violence in season 4, especially the treatment of Jaimie. Never liked Succession or the Sopranos, loved Deadwood.

I absolutely love it- soapy, pretty, and a sprinkle of truth- it's a fun romp...

My mom and stepdad never miss an episode.
