Who do you think is mostly likely to be dead by the final episode of "the White Lotus"?
We know it won't be Daphne ( Meghann Fahy ), because she saw the dead body float by her at the beginning of the episode, which flashed ahead. We also know it won't be Valentina ( ) the hotel manager and her staffer Rocco (Federico Ferrante), because they discossed there were dead bodies of their guests at the beach.
We know there will be more than one character who dies among the guests. But who do you think is most likely to number among them?

I forgot to include the name of the actress who plays Valentina: Sabrina Impacciatore

I love TV shows about the rich. This show is like a 20s Fantasy Island.

Where would Tanya throw his ashes, I wonder?

It seems unlikely to be Cameron, since Daphne would have said ”my husband is dead.” Similar story for her friends. And Lucia and Mia aren’t guests, so very unlikely that Valentina or her staff would call them guests.
I think it’s probably Greg because of those heads they’re always showing and how that was something to do with a cheating husband. He’s off to “Denver.” Probably to a gf but would he make it there and back in 2 days? More likely the gf is elsewhere in Italy.

r4, I was more than just hoping—Cameron kissed Ethan full on the lips 3 or 4 times during the encounter with the girls. Not casually. Also don’t forget Cameron’s exaggeratedly casual “i’d do you” in the course of episode 2 (1? not sure). Plus Cameron “does as he pleases” according to Daphne, and clearly Ethan is sexually completely nonaggressive (though I wouldn’t say passive: he’s all too capable of saying no, which is quite a bore and not helping his strangely unsexy marriage).
Loved the scene between Tonya’s assistant and Alby where her attention is completely focused on the stud who has just jumped in the pool (looking very studly indeed). Every beat perfectly judged, down to the crushingly annoying “Shall I walk you to your room?” (Aargh.)
And finally the wonderful jetski scene which combined character, plot and visual excitement to make a brilliant and beautiful visual set piece that only enhanced one’s interest in the dynamic between these two characters.
Oh yes—one thing more. Another touching scene, more lowkey than last week’s Caesarean scene: the always tart (and very funny) hotel director showing a little warmth spending her lunchtime not only feeding the street kittens but sitting with them while eating her own.
Who’s gonna be dead? Too soon to tell.

R4, I don't think there's much evidence for or against anyone, but we can't rule out anyone in Daphne's group just because of her scene in the opening. For all we know, she was happy that day because she knew her husband or one or more of the others were dead in the water.

R1 How would she be dead? She arrives at the beach when they discover the body/bodies.

The death in season 1 was much more predictable. But I thought it’d be an OD.
Right now I’m thinking it could be anyone, but my top guess is Portia or Albie (one killing the other).

the last season's was stupid. Not watching it any more

If the rest of the season is like last night's episode, then it will be the audience, with the cause of death being boredom.

I remember a number of kisses on the cheek, but not on the lips.

I thought Ethan was realizing he’s attracted to Cameron? The way he kept looking at him in that scene. But maybe I’m imagining things.

I thought he was realizing how much he didn't want to be there.
