5 minutes? 10 minutes? 20 minutes?
How long does it take you to shower?
by Anonymous | reply 86 | November 21, 2022 12:22 PM |
Depends on whether I’m feeling cold, slothful, in a hurry, time of year, time of day, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | November 13, 2022 7:41 PM |
6 minutes
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 13, 2022 7:42 PM |
Most days five minutes.
But sometimes I shower twice a day, especially in winter (it helps warm me up before bedtime).
I consider hot showers to be one of the great joys of modern life.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 13, 2022 7:42 PM |
Probably around twenty minutes.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 13, 2022 7:47 PM |
hot showers are really bad for your skin.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 13, 2022 7:53 PM |
No more than 7 minutes.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 13, 2022 7:56 PM |
It depends on the hole strategy—am I just scouring it clean or preparing it for entry?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | November 13, 2022 7:57 PM |
But I'm 78 and look 23, r5!
by Anonymous | reply 8 | November 13, 2022 8:00 PM |
6.775 minutes
by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 13, 2022 8:03 PM |
20 minutes.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 13, 2022 8:30 PM |
15 minutes, but I'm also shaving and washing my hair.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 13, 2022 9:24 PM |
^ Same, 15 minutes, but I shave in the shower and that takes half the time
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 13, 2022 9:34 PM |
It depends on which one of my many, many beaus are in there with me.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 13, 2022 9:44 PM |
45 minutes, but I never shower without washing my hair.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 13, 2022 9:48 PM |
I thought I was spending too much time in the shower, but then I installed a garbage disposal in my bathtub and began multi-tasking.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 13, 2022 9:55 PM |
Less than five minute- a little soaping of key spots rinse and out. Never understand what guys are doing in 10 minute showers.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 13, 2022 10:12 PM |
^ Some of us have larger "key spots" to scrub than others do 😏
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 13, 2022 10:28 PM |
R16 has never shared a shower...
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 13, 2022 10:45 PM |
It depends. I only wash my hair every 3 days, so that adds about 5 minutes. Also if I do my exfoliation routine, that adds another 10 - but that's only every other day.....and afterwards if I do my full moistureization regimen, that takes probably 10 more minutes -
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 13, 2022 11:23 PM |
I just do a quick dab here and there with a sponge over the sink every so often.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 13, 2022 11:47 PM |
20 minutes in a shower? What kind of scat are you queens into?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 13, 2022 11:51 PM |
3 hours.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 13, 2022 11:52 PM |
R5 that wasn’t the question, stupid ass!
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 13, 2022 11:53 PM |
I have never been able to get on board with shower shaving. I've tried it and it just doesn't work for me.
I'm usually in and out in 5 minutes. Behind the ears, neck, pits, cock, crotch, and ass
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 13, 2022 11:56 PM |
15 mins if I shave in the shower, 10 if I don’t.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 14, 2022 12:14 AM |
Here’s a clue, R16: washing.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 14, 2022 12:55 AM |
I think 20 - 25 mins.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 14, 2022 12:56 AM |
So many threads that should include a poll. *sigh*
by Anonymous | reply 28 | November 14, 2022 1:22 AM |
It depends on how much blood I have on me.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 14, 2022 1:32 AM |
Shut up R28. How can you reasonably include a poll where the options are unlimited and varied. Stop being dumb.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 14, 2022 1:43 AM |
Since I had a garbage disposal installed, i get a lot more done in the shower . So I make my time there more useful
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 14, 2022 2:05 AM |
More than 5 minutes but under 10.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 14, 2022 2:10 AM |
3 minutes tops. Tits, pits and naughty bits. What are you, fucking stupid?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 14, 2022 2:13 AM |
15 minutes to shower and shave. Another 5-6 minutes for flossing and brushing. From bed to being ready to go out is a total of 30 minutes.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 14, 2022 2:43 AM |
I’m a zombie until after a hot shower - easily always 15 to 20 minutes with much of the time spent just standing under the water. Sometimes I zone out so far I start to get out of the shower before I remember I haven’t washed anywhere yet.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | November 14, 2022 2:52 AM |
Regular or golden, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | November 14, 2022 2:54 AM |
I battle rogue nations in my showers.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 14, 2022 2:54 AM |
About6-7 mins
Baths are about an hour, I read mags in the tub.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | November 14, 2022 4:03 AM |
R24 When do you wash your feet then? I'm hoping this isn't going to be an Ashton Kutcher style response: "no soap on the feet". It's astonishing to me how so many blokes claim to never wash their feet.
I don't shower everyday, but wash my feet twice daily, and the other odour prone areas once each day. When I'm in the shower, It's usually ten minutes tops, but I don't leave the water running when I'm washing.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | November 14, 2022 5:27 AM |
^ There's always a puddle on the shower floor while the soap runs down my legs. So, for 10-15 minutes I'm standing in soapy water. How dirty are your feet that that isn't enough? I wear shoes and socks
by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 14, 2022 5:55 AM |
R40 For me, no actual visible dirt, but I like to scrub them... and quite vigorously! I use a flannel or a Salux, and plenty if soap. I've heard many times before this explanation about standing in the water, or that the suds run down the legs and take care of the feet, but I don't feel that's actually washing them, or getting between toes... AND you did say you're in and out in five minutes previously...hence my question.
Sorry, not trying to shame you, perhaps your feet don't sweat or stink. That wouldn't work for me, or my partner.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | November 14, 2022 6:19 AM |
^not shaming either but with this logic, why not just shampoo your hair & let the suds run down your body so you don’t have to wash anything?
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 14, 2022 6:24 AM |
In the summer, 2 showers of 5 minutes - morning and evening.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 14, 2022 6:28 AM |
Funny that I came across this thread when I just hopped out of the shower moments ago.
But usually, 20 minutes, mostly because I love how the hot water feels when taking a shower.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 14, 2022 6:36 AM |
@r41, Time to put the bottle down and go to bed, son, you have a lot of scrubbing to do in the morning 😏
by Anonymous | reply 45 | November 14, 2022 6:48 AM |
3–5 minutes, tops.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | November 14, 2022 6:51 AM |
Does anyone jerk it in the shower on a regular basis?
by Anonymous | reply 47 | November 14, 2022 7:00 AM |
You’re gonna eat my ass after all
by Anonymous | reply 48 | November 14, 2022 7:03 AM |
at home shower = 5 minutes. Communal shower = 145 min.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | November 14, 2022 8:36 AM |
I wash my hair too so between 5 and 7 minutes. I don't do anything else in the shower though... no shaving, teeth brushing, or jerking off. And I like to shower alone. Showering with others wastes water and I hate sex in the shower.
- And I take my purse with me!
by Anonymous | reply 50 | November 14, 2022 8:42 AM |
I suspect quite a few of you frankly stink.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | November 14, 2022 11:30 AM |
I don't specifically wash my feet every day. I let gravity handle that. But I do use a wash cloth and one of those exfoliating things. You really do need a washcloth for your hole. I'm still out in 5 minutes.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | November 14, 2022 2:20 PM |
^ R52 is the reason I only ever fuck at the bathouse, and pick them up at the shower's door, after peeping on them. Gross
by Anonymous | reply 53 | November 14, 2022 9:15 PM |
Usually 6-7 minutes unless I'm washing my hair, that adds about 3 minutes unless I also have to deep condition and then we're talking another 5 minutes. The longest is 15 but that's like once a month.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | November 14, 2022 9:21 PM |
As long as the rainy season lasts.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | November 14, 2022 9:40 PM |
10 minutes. I like to be thorough.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | November 14, 2022 9:42 PM |
Some of you clearly do not live in areas with chronic water shortages.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | November 14, 2022 9:48 PM |
R57 - Well who the fuck told you to go live in the desert? Bitch please. Don't blame geography for your body odor.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | November 15, 2022 1:07 AM |
I gently dab a sani-wipe on my unmentionables and pits every morning, and then take a quick shower on Saturdays. Fortunately, I'm a basement-dwelling shut-in, so one is offended by my preternatural stench.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | November 19, 2022 12:51 PM |
Used to take a lot longer when I brought my toys in the shower. Not about that life anymore, need to save water for environment. Big sacrifices!
by Anonymous | reply 60 | November 19, 2022 12:57 PM |
Depends on how many guys are in there peeing on me.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | November 19, 2022 1:04 PM |
Let it all just rain on me!
by Anonymous | reply 62 | November 19, 2022 1:06 PM |
Eldergays - explain how washing your hair takes longer than 60 seconds. (All the "10 to 15 minutes but I wash my hair" replies)
Do you have showers with very very very low water pressure and it takes a long time to rinse the shampoo out?
by Anonymous | reply 63 | November 19, 2022 1:10 PM |
About 12-15 minutes, but I shave.
My partner has always taken long showers but they're getting worse and worse as he gets older, and they got up to an hour and 15 minutes. I don't know what he's doing in there. He always has a bitchfit if I ask him to cut it out, but he did go back down to the 45-minute showers he used to do. It's still too long but he won't stop and he won't explain what he's doing that takes so long.
Then this fucking idiot complains about dry skin.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | November 19, 2022 1:11 PM |
Takes me around three minutes tops after working out so everything including hair gets washed.
Sometimes it's nice to stand under the hot water and daydream a little, but that adds maybe five more minutes.
I always finish off with cold water too.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | November 19, 2022 1:14 PM |
Five minutes or so generally.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | November 19, 2022 1:15 PM |
2-3 minutes. I'm a manly man, I shower like a manly man. Lather up the head, face, ears, pits, crotch, hole, feet. Rinse. Then soap the entire body, including aforementioned areas again, rinse off. Done.
I use Irish Spring btw.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | November 19, 2022 1:49 PM |
Five minutes every third day, because unlike you fat, Capitalist whores, I CARE ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT! I am, you know, saving your fat sorry asses by saving the whole fucking planet! And yes, you're welcome!
by Anonymous | reply 69 | November 19, 2022 8:06 PM |
My shower faucet thing broke last week, so now zero minutes. I don’t know what I going to do. I guess I could lay in the tub and let the rising water sort of clean me.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | November 19, 2022 8:17 PM |
[quote]because unlike you fat, Capitalist whores, I CARE ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT!
You care about the environment, but don't care about smelling like a funk trap. And yes gurl, you do smell.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | November 19, 2022 8:21 PM |
I often do a quick 5-minute shower. It really doesn't take that long to scrub yourself with some soap, shampoo the hair, and rinse it all off. If I want to take my time though and wash my face with a cleanser, condition my hair, etc., I can get close to 15 minutes. Never more than that, though. I am not the type of person who can stand in a stream of water for 45 minutes without getting very bored. I'd rather be doing other things.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | November 19, 2022 8:25 PM |
45min to 90min in the shower is insane. Anyone who does that is mentally ill. There's something wrong or they're doing drugs with the water running for background noise.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | November 19, 2022 8:34 PM |
I go in there often enough while he's showering that I'm sure he's not doing drugs and pretending otherwise, r73. But mentally ill? Probably, yes.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | November 20, 2022 5:59 AM |

Or you can spritz yourself with toilet water. Preferably unused.

[quote] I often do a quick 5-minute shower.
Sounds like you've seen Arachnophobia or Psycho one too many times. Or you're doing a very cursory, spot-clean. Let me guess, 30 seconds to brush your teeth too?
by Anonymous | reply 76 | November 20, 2022 3:14 PM |
About 20 minutes. I wash my hair, rinse and then apply conditioner. Then I soap up my body. Then I wash my face and shave.
I don't understand why men don't shave in the shower? Who wants to get out of the shower and then have to get their face wet again by shaving over the sink? It's much easier to shower and shave at the same time.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | November 20, 2022 3:52 PM |
R68, do you speak with an Irish accent when you do it?
by Anonymous | reply 79 | November 20, 2022 4:05 PM |
How the fuck does it take Eldergays 20 minutes to shower?
Are you just so old and creaky it takes you forever to move your hands?
So fat that you need to get under the folds?
Well?
by Anonymous | reply 80 | November 20, 2022 4:07 PM |
I'll give you 10 minutes if you shave, but 20 is a little over the top.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | November 20, 2022 5:44 PM |
[quote] 3–5 minutes, tops.

Depends on how much beer I've had.

Agree, but I have not found the perfect mirror that both stays on the shower tile and does not fog up. What do you use and suggest for a mirror. I hate having to go to the sing, get my face wet again, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | November 21, 2022 1:33 AM |
If you only take 5 or 10 minutes there is no way you are getting your hole and balls clean.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | November 21, 2022 1:45 AM |
I shave first R84. Why don't you people shave first and then shower.
R85, what is going on with your hole and balls, how wrecked are they?
