Let's Discuss the movie Holes. It is one of the top tier Disney Live Action films. It does not even feel like a Disney film.

In Texas, after a boy is mistakenly convicted for theft, he is sentenced to 18 months at Camp Green Lake, an all boys juvenile camp dedicated to the motto that digging holes builds character.

Directed by Andrew Davis

Based on the novel by Louis Sachar

Starring Shia LaBeouf, Kleo Thomas, Sigourney Weaver, Jon Voight, Tim Blake Nelson, Patricia Arquette, Dule Hill, Henry Winkler, Rick Fox, Siobhan Fallon Hogan, Nathan Davis, and EARTHA KITT as Madame Zeroni

Isn't this the movie Shia did just before he got the role in HBO's 1st season of "Greenlight?"

Few know that this was the original title of Dawson's 50 Load Weekend

HOLES is the best of Walden Media’s children’s book adaptations, which are by and large awful.

R7 I agree

It's a pretty good movie. A movie for older kids, but one that adults can enjoy, too, an odd and unique movie with touches of dark humor and fantasy.

AND Sigourney Weaver wearing rattlesnake-venom nail polish.

The book was so bad that I'm not tempted to see the movie.
