Directed by Gary Marshall
Written by Leslie Dixon
Music by Randy Newman and Alan Silvestri
Starring Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Edward Herrmann, Katherine Helmond, Michael Hagerty, and Roddy McDowall as Andrew

I jerked off to this bit recently. Kurt is delicious man-ness of the highest order here. Like Bruce Willis in Color of Night and some other movies, and Jason Patric in After Dark, My Sweet, his body here is ever so slightly close to not being fit. Juicy and luscious.

Datalounge is so obsessed with guys being SUPER FIT, that we can't even express our admiration for sexy guys without first "acknowledging" that they're not 100% perfectly fit and trim.

They should have made more movies together. They could've just dusted off some old scripts from the 30s and 40s and had Carrie Fisher slightly modernize the dialogue and improve it where possible.

I don't think they're that happy anymore, at least not Goldie. Goldie has posted videos on her Instagram and when she's not putting on a giggling schoolgirl performance, she has a very brittle demeanor. I also remember Kurt talking in an interview about how they've both threatened to leave each other over the years.

They did do a nice job of making the movie palatable in spite of it being about gaslighting, they made him emphasize over and over that he wasn't going to do anything worse to her than make her work off the money she owed him. That made him seem decent and honest, and rather than abusive.
