The Dems will win the Nevada senate race, R19. It’s a done deal. CCM probably takes the vote lead tomorrow. That means yes, the Democrats will have secured a senate majority before the Georgia runoff even happens.

Georgia is probably a moot election at this point (I still do not want Walker) the Dem in Nevada is headed to a victory as the votes yet to be counted are from heavily democratic districts.

I have the sense that in the Georgia runoff the wind will be behind the Democrats. Republicans won't have the governor at the top of the ticket; crazy Walker will have to bring people out on his own; and by now the Republicans look like losers nationwide—in addition to the point already made about the race not mattering to control of the Senate.

The Georgia race does matter. 1. It is to reject someone as stupid as Walker to serve. And, in two years, with another senate election, we need as many Dems in the Senate to offset any potential future losses in 2024.

Another dem win for the senate and they don’t have to rely on either Sinenema of Nevada or the Manchurian Candidate from West Virginia to get shit done.
