I've seen child performances that were quite good but ultimately it's not the same as the work and thought and adult actor puts into a performance. Also it's a tad cruel towards the kids. Too much pressure.

Yeah, adults can handle the rejection and can realize you're not going to win every single time. But I would imagine for a kid that it's very hurtful.

The Academy should reinstate the Juvenile Award because there have been some really excellent child performances and they deserve recognition.
