I, unfortunately, did listen to that podcast even before this thread, Nico is lovely and extremely well spoken beyond what I imagined, but those girls were excruciating and it’s time I’ll never get back. What’s interesting is that it never comes up about his ethnic background. Nico, quite like Froy is basically WASP passing despite being Hispanic/Latino, one of his parents is Colombian. The model girl does talk about how hard it is to get bookings because she is very white looking and no one’s looking for that right now. I think he didn’t mention it because of her statement, but he’s one of those actors that can get a role and production can tick off the diversity quotient, while still getting someone the audience won’t necessarily buy as anything beyond mainstream white.
