Do you think Howard Stern and Beth O really change their own cat boxes?

My husband often listens to Howard Stern and says they don't hire staff to do this. If I were rich, cat box changing would be one of the first chores I would hire someone to do. It's disgusting.

His whole life has been pussy.

It's not disgusting if you scoop it a few times a day and once a month, dump ALL the liter out, put it in the shower and wash it. Then put in fresh new litter. I never understood people who never wash the box. Friend of mine had me watch her cats recently and the box was so foul I had to wear a mask to clean it and both of her cats kept pooping on the floor because they were over that dirty box.

I scoop my cat box a few times a day, it takes maybe 4 minutes a day. I used to work at a rescue and I would foster cats, one week I was sick and they sent one of the volunteers to my house to help me, he came to clean the cat boxes and was there for five minutes, I was pissed they made someone come do that. Beth O is a horsefaced gold digger but I hope even she doesn't have people just come scoop cat shit.

They didn't really until Covid. Howard was a major germophobe even before, and when quarantine hit he took social distancing really seriously and wouldn't let any staff into the house. He'd go on about how much work all the cats were and how Beth had to clean all the litter.

It’s not a big deal if you scoop a couple times a day. Today’s cat litters are so superior, they mask smells really well.

My sister keeps her cat’s litter box pristine & buys really expensive litter. However, yesterday I noticed liquid poop on the wall next to the box. Apparently kitty steps in her poop & flicks her paw in disgust. No matter how tiny she is & how big her ginormous box is, she’s hellbent on always stepping on it.

I would adopt kids for that very purpose.

^Angelina Jolie in the house.

Cleaned my cat's box twice a day, washed it about every ten days. Neighbors once asked me to watch their cat for a week. Went over the first day, and they obviously hadn't scooped it themselves for several days, and left it for me. Disgusting. Nice cat, but that was a one time gig.

She's too stupid to change a cat box.

by Anonymousreply 9November 8, 2022 5:21 AM

R8 Yeah, I've had the same experience catsitting. People buy huge boxes and only change them like every two weeks. It's so gross.

by Anonymousreply 10November 8, 2022 5:22 AM

Isn't he a big germophobe? I doubt that he goes near anything like a litter box...

by Anonymousreply 11November 8, 2022 6:03 AM

I imagine they can afford the Tesla of cat litter boxes, ones that have sensors and are self cleaning. You can buy one for only $699, though you'll need to empty the waste receptacle it's gotta be less nasty than scooping.

They're lying. Of course those 2 assholes hire staff.

by Anonymousreply 13November 18, 2022 2:27 AM

You don't "change the cat box" daily or "clean" the cat box daily. You just scoop out that day's poop and pee. If you use clumping litter this is very simple. Periodically, empty out all the litter and wash the box, then put in all new litter. The only time you need to clean the box itself frequently is if the cat "misses" when peeing or pooping and some of it lands on our out of the box.

It's not that complicated.

Not really a big deal to clean up after a cat

by Anonymousreply 15November 18, 2022 2:28 AM

I know someone who puts the litter box in the dishwasher to clean, needless to say I'm not eating over at their place.
