Cruz keeps getting re-elected because moguls such as Charles Koch weigh him down with cash.

Beto will keep losing because of his support for the infux of undocumentd migrants and his softness on border security. That stance is not supported by a huge number of resident Latinos in Texas. Non-citizen migrants aren’t eligible to vote. Beto’s messaging on the issue is not popular.
