When is Days coming back to NBC?

We mourn the move to Peacock. But was speaking to an older female friend and she says this is just temporary, it will be returning the network.

Is there a time horizon on when DOOL will be back to NBC? Anyone know?

by Anonymousreply 42January 17, 2023 8:12 AM

DOOL?

Is she a soothsayer? A medium? A psychic?

by Anonymousreply 2November 6, 2022 4:25 PM

When they put Dr. Marlena Evans back in the birdcage.

by Anonymousreply 3November 6, 2022 4:37 PM

I think it was Nicole that was placed in a cage.

by Anonymousreply 4November 6, 2022 4:38 PM

Marlena was kept in a luxury cage by Stefano, under the streets of Paris, in 1996!

by Anonymousreply 5November 6, 2022 4:55 PM

Op tell your friend to stop telling lies.

well if it was a luxury cage i guess that makes it ok

by Anonymousreply 8November 6, 2022 5:22 PM

Did the cage have a shitter?

by Anonymousreply 9November 6, 2022 5:24 PM

People on DOOL don't shit when they are kidnapped, or trapped. They just complain loudly.

by Anonymousreply 10November 6, 2022 5:32 PM

Remember when Hope was imprisoned for months by Princess Gina? Now that's one pussy that must have stank

by Anonymousreply 11November 6, 2022 5:46 PM

Anything is possible in the world of soaps!

by Anonymousreply 12November 6, 2022 5:49 PM

Older females won't spend $4.99 a month to watch their story, but they'll spend $100 a week for needless pillows, candles and other household garbage from Home Goods. Your friend is just manifesting.

It will be a miracle of 'DOOL' is even on Peacock after September 2023. This was clearly a way for them to get rid of the show. If fans are lucky, they might do the sporadic Beyond Salem shows.

R13 You're totally right. Many of the fraus were in a tizzy on Facebook when the AMC and OLTL reboots were streaming for free on Hulu and wouldn't watch.

by Anonymousreply 14November 6, 2022 6:43 PM

We greatly anticipate Peacock cancelling DOOL with Beyond SalemXXX moving to Pornhub Premium.

by Anonymousreply 15November 6, 2022 10:11 PM

We'll Delve into that.

According to someone on here, Peacock is considering offering them a possible two-year renewal deal, similar to the one NBC offered them, carrying them into the Fall of 2025 (their 50th anniversary year). Unless NBC takes them back next fall, however if they wanted to keep them, they never would've let them go in the first place.

by Anonymousreply 17November 15, 2022 12:42 AM

R15 Very good idea 😆

by Anonymousreply 18November 15, 2022 12:43 AM

Didn't Hope also end up in a cage, when she "disappeared" in a vat of acid after being held captive by Ernesto Toscano?

by Anonymousreply 19November 15, 2022 12:44 AM

I believe Jan Spears held Shawn D shirtless in a cage for months back in 2004 or 2005.

by Anonymousreply 20November 15, 2022 12:52 AM

OP Maybe consult with Susan Banks on exactly when Days is returning to NBC. Perhaps Susan can get in touch with the spirits who will be able to tell her exactly when it will be back on NBC.

Or maybe get in touch with Celeste, who can do a Tarot card reading to tell us the exact date.

by Anonymousreply 21November 15, 2022 12:54 AM

I love that old movie Lady in a Cage.

by Anonymousreply 22November 15, 2022 1:21 AM

I knew the show was off track when Xander kept Nicole in a cage.

It should have been shirtless Xander in a cage.

by Anonymousreply 23November 16, 2022 2:56 AM

Now that the NBC news-division (Today) has wrested control of another network-controlled, daytime hour, it will never give it up.

by Anonymousreply 24November 16, 2022 3:51 AM

perhaps when all 26 hours of TODAY have zero viewers, they might re-think things.

by Anonymousreply 25November 20, 2022 2:15 PM

Who sits and watches hours of Today or GMA? Fraus?

by Anonymousreply 26November 20, 2022 2:26 PM

Network and cable channels are going to continue to slide into irrelevance.

by Anonymousreply 27November 20, 2022 2:30 PM

DAYS, never returning, living well on Peacock, and grateful Brian Frons left NBC when he did.

IT is an experiment to keep it alive and boost Peacock. It is never coming back to NBC.

by Anonymousreply 29November 20, 2022 3:37 PM

r28 uh Brian was at ABC.

by Anonymousreply 30November 20, 2022 10:15 PM

Scoche Marin will be crossing over to DAYS as Y&R’s Katherine Chancellor to goose the streaming numbers.

by Anonymousreply 31November 20, 2022 10:19 PM

When we turn the clocks back to 1985.

by Anonymousreply 32November 20, 2022 10:21 PM

It doesn't matter when, really. I still won't wear a stupid AIDS ribbon.

by Anonymousreply 33November 20, 2022 10:22 PM

r30 Look at Brian Frons' LinkedIn.

You'll see that he was not only head of ABC Daytime, but also head of NBC Daytime in the 80s and involved with CBS daytime before that.

Brian has the unusual distinction of having canceled Search for Tomorrow TWICE -- first on CBS and then again four years later on NBC.

by Anonymousreply 34November 20, 2022 10:38 PM

Scoche sent out her annual holiday cards. Scoche Marin is the definitive Katherine Chancellor on Y&R. And now she will bring Kay to DAYS. She has confirmed the news! I hope they rename the show to KAYS OF OUR LIVES!!

They already had their 50th Anniversary back in 2015. LOOL!

by Anonymousreply 37January 16, 2023 10:20 PM

[quote] LOOL!

LOOL! :)

by Anonymousreply 38January 16, 2023 10:26 PM

Isn’t Dee about to turn 50?

by Anonymousreply 39January 16, 2023 10:27 PM

In about 20 years, r39

by Anonymousreply 40January 17, 2023 2:18 AM

GH is turning 60 in April.

Streaming services are going to keep shows with recognizable brand names to them in hopes of building audiences.

I'm reading every day about shows like Skippy Do and Trigger, Holidays, and Judy Moon being canceled b/c no one ever heard of them.

I think DAYs will see 60.

by Anonymousreply 41January 17, 2023 7:37 AM

I would pay $4.99 a month to watch Days veteran Blake Berris walk around naked for an hour.
