There was a stunt faux romance with Jamie Tarses, cuz the PR team had a photo of Perry and Tarses at a table in some restaurant, and it appeared in The National Enquirer. See, he's not gay! Lol. The 'romance' with Julia came down to Roberts having a crush on Chandler since she loved the show, and Julia took the high road when she realized she was bearding for him, and he had zero interest in her.

I thought Matthew and Lisa were the funniest. They had great comedic timing. Jennifer/Matt were the eye-candies. Courney and David-the most annoying, at least their characters were.

It's bad enough people liked Friends when it originally aired, but that younger generations are now watching and loving it says so much about how shit mainstream TV must be.

He's always seemed like a jerk. Story after story, over the years about how his "Friends" costars just love and support him. I always found that hard to believe after awhile, now I can see why.

Are there any DL dentists out there? I would like a check on his story on Colbert that the reason he was off his game on the Friends Reunion show was that he had "bone spurs in his mouth that had to be removed urgently" and that he had that done the day before and still wasn't over it.

In the first place, are bone spurs in the mouth even a thing, and if they are, are they an emergency? In the second place, he's an addict so nobody would have given him painkillers with any strength in them after an operation like that, so he'd probably still be in hospital where they could keep him comfortable. He certainly wouldn't be off his face on TV.

I did notice that he seemed to have new veneers or crowns that he wasn't comfortable with, and wondered whether in fact it was a bit of a last-minute cosmetic dash before the Friends show.

I'm not a toothonomist or a toothologist, but I think bony protrusions in the mouth are fairly common. You can also get little bits of bone in your gum tissue after a procedure, a friend had that happen after an implant and the infection needed to be taken care of immediately.

Didn’t watch the whole reunion, but I saw some interviews with the cast taken at the time. And every time Perry opened his mouth to attempt to slur out a barely coherent answer, you could actually see his co-stars tense up and most likely wonder what shit was about to come out of his drugged up mouth.

I don’t care about any of their personal lives - I want to read a Behind The Scenes book about what really went on during the run of Friends. Which one will be the first to test the Confidentiality Clause? I’m hoping it’s Kudrow, she seems the most down to earth.

The Comeback was Kudrow's attempt to do that.

The only reference to Friends that Kudrow admitted to using that I recall is the character's line about needing to know she was being heard, which Lisa said came from Courteney Cox.

I have no urge to revisit Friends (unlike, say, The Comeback) but the fact that audiences enjoy it and they weren't even alive in the 1990s... says something for its quality. If it works, it works.
