And when did she look her best?
What do you think of Sharon Tate's looks?
by Anonymous | reply 71 | December 3, 2022 2:30 AM |
Slightly resembled Madonna
by Anonymous | reply 1 | November 2, 2022 5:16 AM |
Very pretty. In my opinion she looked her best when she was about 30.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 2, 2022 5:19 AM |
She didn’t have time to change her look, unless she was in a brown wig.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 2, 2022 5:20 AM |
R2 She was killed when she was 26.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 2, 2022 5:25 AM |
Nice eyes
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 2, 2022 5:38 AM |
Oops - sorry about that R4, I thought she was older.
In that case, I think she looked her best at about 25. She looked pretty bad at 30.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 2, 2022 5:47 AM |
What a bizarre topic.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | November 2, 2022 5:58 AM |
R7, why?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | November 2, 2022 6:23 AM |
Gorgeous/perfect. She looked her best from 1943-1969.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 2, 2022 7:05 AM |
Okay
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 2, 2022 4:01 PM |
Looked best in her early 20's
by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 2, 2022 7:29 PM |
Beautiful eyes. Resembled Olivia Palermo.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 2, 2022 8:07 PM |
I have never been fond of dust.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 2, 2022 8:18 PM |
Quite lovely. Not talking about talent or acting, just appearance. One of the best trophy wives at that time.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 2, 2022 8:59 PM |
Very pretty. Neither Margot Robbie or Hilary Duff look like her to me.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 2, 2022 9:03 PM |
This will sound strange but I've noticed that certain facial structures are more common in certain eras. Or maybe just more likely to book acting jobs. Her looks were stunning but there were several actresses that resembled her ( though not quite as pretty). Peggy Lipton and Catherine Bach come to mind. Very few current actresses look anything like her.
R15 Robbie can sort of resemble her with the right makeup. Duff is not even close.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 2, 2022 9:06 PM |
I'm an idiot. I meant catherine Schell not bach!
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 2, 2022 9:07 PM |
R16 Good point. Honestly I see so much variation of female beauty by decades and women are always victims of fashion trends. While most male sex symbols and standards of male attractiveness throughout history have remained pretty consistent as had male fashion.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 2, 2022 9:18 PM |
Here's Sharon in an interview with Merv Griffin in which she looks lovely and seems intelligent and down to earth
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 2, 2022 9:27 PM |
Well we all know when she looked her worst.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 2, 2022 9:34 PM |
Completely generic hollywood bitch. Would have sunken into oblivion when she'd hit 30 like fellow c-list friend Pettet, after being dumped by Polanski. Bitchface for decades. plus she was a satan worshipper. I really don't like the current canonization of that marginally talented, unpleasant bimbo. she was hosting satanic black masses and that sort of things, FFS. really despise her. Sure she didn't deserve her fate, but she would have never been a star or even a real actress.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 2, 2022 9:35 PM |
Looked like Glenn Close
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 3, 2022 7:25 PM |
Pretty when young
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 4, 2022 2:53 AM |
R21, cite your source please.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 4, 2022 3:48 AM |
r25 that person probably has no sources and is just reiterating old salacious rumors that were created to blame the murder victims for their own deaths.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 4, 2022 4:26 AM |
R25 it's common knowledge, try reading. also, she was fucking everything that moved, even while pregnant, and her baby was not Polanski's. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Too late to get a date.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 4, 2022 1:08 PM |
R12 no freaking way. She was about 1000 times prettier.
R16 Rose Byrne does resemble her /that type - somewhat. But not in a huge way.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 6, 2022 7:05 AM |
She let her breasts droop.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 6, 2022 9:13 AM |
R32 Well, to hell with them, let them droop!
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 6, 2022 6:36 PM |
Sharon was stunningly beautiful. Stunningly. Any of you fags see her in Valley Of The Dolls? Bitches don't need to be jealous. Just relish. She would have found some good in you, too.
Liz Taylor had Sharon cut from The Sandpiper. When Debra Tate later asked Liz about it later, Liz said. "Of course I had Sharon cut from the film. Have you seen your sister?"

R34, what do you think of Madonna's looks?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | November 27, 2022 10:25 PM |
I remember when I first saw her first in The Fearless Vampire Killers. I was a young teen then and was absolutely in awe of her beauty. It wasn't only her face but every move and every smile. I can only name a handful of people who ever made me feel like this.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | November 27, 2022 10:38 PM |
I think she looks A LOT like Rose Byrne and she should have played her in Once Upon A time in Hollywood-
Large, rag doll brown eyes, heart shaped perfect face, lovely teeth, lips, hair etc.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 27, 2022 10:38 PM |
Sharon was naturally beautiful. Large, hazel, almond shaped eyes. Delicate, symmetry. High cheekbones that could cut glass. Flawless skin. A face of kindness and a smile that enthralled everyone. On screen, she was a scene stealer, a show stopper.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | November 27, 2022 11:06 PM |
Stunning looking women. I think someone once said of Garbo "Ahe makes sober men feel the way drunk men feel when they see a beautiful woman." I can for sure see that about Tate.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 27, 2022 11:10 PM |
*she not ahe
by Anonymous | reply 41 | November 27, 2022 11:13 PM |
Funny, I was just thinking about Madonna's looks the other day, I'm not sure why...
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 27, 2022 11:16 PM |
When she was outside in this home video, WOW! Gorgeous, young woman.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 27, 2022 11:17 PM |
[quote]What do you think of Sharon Tate's looks? And when did she look her best?
Well, I can tell you when she looked her worst.
Today.
Second worst?
Yesterday.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 27, 2022 11:18 PM |
Even Sharon's classmates remember how perfect she seemed. She had a core kindness and a physical grace.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | November 27, 2022 11:24 PM |
Was that the house she was murdered in?
by Anonymous | reply 46 | November 27, 2022 11:52 PM |
So beautiful, ……a one of a kind like Farrah.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | November 27, 2022 11:56 PM |
Reply 46, no, that was the previous house. The house on Summit Ridge, Sharon and Roman rented it from Patty Duke and her husband. Sharon loved that house, too, and wanted to buy it, but their husbands couldn't agree on a price so they subleased the place on Cielo Drive where she was later killed.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | November 28, 2022 12:02 AM |
Another home video at 1600 Summitridge, this one of Sharon bathing Patty's wolf hound, Shadrack.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | November 28, 2022 12:05 AM |
never heard of her
by Anonymous | reply 50 | November 28, 2022 12:11 AM |
I think she was amazingly beautiful, and might have been even more beautiful if she hadn't bleached her hair blonde and fried her skin into a fashionable tan.
She had the perfect bone structure and big brown eyes necessary for a madonna-like beauty, with her natural coloring she might have been up there with Hedy Lamarr and Elizabeth Taylor in the Hall of Great Screen Beauties. Here, this is the closest picture I could find to her natural coloring, I guess she'd let her roots grow out a bit before this was taken.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | November 28, 2022 12:38 AM |
She looked luminous and sweet in the many candid behind the scenes videos and newsreels.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | November 28, 2022 1:26 AM |
Did she have any physical flaws whatsoever and when did she look her best?
by Anonymous | reply 53 | November 28, 2022 2:53 AM |
R53 She looked best at 2:34 a.m., Rose!
She was a beautiful woman of 26- She hadn't hit her 'peak', unless someone takes her image, and uses specialized aging software to project what/when her 'peak' beauty period was. And who do you guess would be interested in funding such an oddly specific and futile research project?
by Anonymous | reply 54 | November 28, 2022 4:01 AM |
Probably right before her face was covered in blood and bits of brain, Rose.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | November 28, 2022 4:39 AM |
Reply 53, Sharon was always a "10". She had a couple of what she considered imperfections. Sharon thought she had knobby knees and did have a vertical, facial scar on one cheek (it did not detract from her beauty). The scar occurred, when as a child, she fell on top of corrugated tin. She chose to keep the scar, rather than have it removed, because she felt it was a part of her. Sharon liked to hold things close that helped her feel grounded.

^DL. If you don't like the thread, I think there are a few others.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | November 29, 2022 4:02 AM |
She had a phenomenal figure, Naturally, model slim.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | November 29, 2022 4:08 AM |
Ethereal beauty. This was a home movie of Sharon during a photo shoot for The Wrecking Crew.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | November 29, 2022 4:21 AM |
I think she was stunning.

When Sharon was just starting out in Los Angeles, she was doing small tv parts. They used her at the end of a series called Hollywood and the Stars. The segment was titled, Sirens, Symbols & Glamour Girls. She would have been 20 years old in this.
Upon first seeing Sharon, a producer said, "She was like a blast". He thought she'd be for film, not televison. When Filmways Head, Martin Ransohoff, saw her, he thought she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen and signed her as a minor, without a screen test.

Just wondering.

Why was she not cast in Rosemary's Baby?
by Anonymous | reply 65 | December 2, 2022 4:32 PM |
She is incredibly beautiful.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | December 2, 2022 5:03 PM |
Sharon's dialog in VOD was not her personal view, she accepted people as they were and found good in most people. At least that's what's been said, repeatedly about her. She was decent and kind, and everybody loved her. Someone was quoted as saying that no one in show business ever had a bad word to say about Sharon, and that in Hollywood, that wasn't just an improbability, it was an impossibility.
Roman wanted Sharon to play Rosemary Woodhouse. He'd wanter an all American, corn fed beauty to play the role, but was reluctant to suggest her because he was new to Paramount. The studio pushed Mia Farrow, due to her popularity on tv's Peyton Place. Sharon visited the set often and became close friends with Mia. Sharon is in an uncredited extra role. She is in the party scene, for a split second, in the background, wearing a black headband. Her fur coat is worn by another extra in the same scene.
In between visiting the set in New York , Sharon did a photo shoot for Esquire magazine.
