I'm currently watching 'A Clusterfunke Christmas' -- supposedly a spoof of Hallmark movies. He plays the hometown hunk, and looks kind of thin and (almost) sickly. I actually googled to find out if he's ill or not, but I guess not. Still, he looks like he's lost 20 lbs. And not in a good way.

He's in terrible condition mentally and physically. Chronic condition (you know the one) and drug abuse/poor adherence to med regimen + alcoholism. Won't be with us much longer.

R12, you know...I was almost gonna say the same a little earlier. He really looked BAD in that (horrible) 'Christmas in Clusterfunke' movie. Very thin from the side -- especially his neck -- so much so that it made his head look HUGE. Like it jutted out in both directions.

He seems like the type of guy who thinks he needs to look like he did 20 years ago -- shades of Rupert Everett -- and I wouldn't be surprised if he has more work done, with disastrous results this time.

I saw him in only two things - United 93 and The Green - and I thought he was fine in both of them.

What’s weird is he used to give so many interviews about what a rock Monte was for him…and then it just collapsed.

He really had a career going on Broadway around the time of Xanadu…then he just kinda left it to go be second and third string on bad tv shows

R17, that was three years ago already. Not looking good recently...

I can remember when he was the "big thing" on B'way... partly based upon his looks, but he was showing himself to be talented on stage. His TV work was fine, but really nothing incredible - and for me that includes the gig on 30 Rock.

So there he was, an out gay actor, working steadily with what seemed to be a stable relationship. And then, BOOM! he fell apart... relationship ended, got involved with guy from Landmark (isn't it a low-rent Scientology?), was suddenly he's covered in tats and making really bad sex tapes.

I saw him in Encores! "Most Happy Fella" - he was awful. He could not convey a straight man at all.

If he's gotten his act together, good for him, but doesn't he seems to be working for a paycheck more than anything else, right?

God, his face is terrifyingly weathered but his eyes actually literally scare me. He's so emptied.

The dyed hair and matching brows is never a good look.

He was always a little weird looking depending on the angle - both face and body. He had to work hard to look hot - and not be fat. I think he is just thin and aging now. I think he has left the drug scene behind in NY.

How that Kat show was ever renewed, I'll never know. I'm sure it will be back for another season now that Beverly Leslie is dead and the budget lightened.
