I think Joe looks good but I understand why others think he looks ugly. Hope he bulks up for the role a little, that'd calm some of you down.

R10 Did you miss the finale? Ralph was the character played by Evan Peters. Agatha moved into his house and gave him an enchanted necklace, so that she could control his mind and apparently it also allowed him to imitate Quicksilver's superspeed ability. She sent him to spy on Wanda while pretending to be Pietro.

He's ugly as shit, actors are supposed to be beautiful not fugly rodents.

He needs to do something about the eyebrows and hair at once. It won’t make him attractive in the least but he’d be less revolting.

I expect Marvel will have good styling and also make him replace his missing tooth. They don’t go for relatable ordinary looking kids the way Heartstopper did. I honestly don’t think Joe is bad looking though, he just photographs poorly. He looks fine in videos and has had a few very good professional photoshoots. But when posing for random pictures with fans, or at red carpet events, he rarely hits his angels correctly. Hopefully Marvel will force him to do some modeling training.

R24 I agree. I personally don't find him hot or attractive, I'll just say he's average. But he can act. In the UK acting talent matters. It's the other way around in the US. You don't need acting talent if you look good. Maybe that's why those of us watching mostly American tv shows are so used to seeing pretty people on our screens. When we see someone who is not we tend to react with surprise.

Edvin Ryding is a brilliant actor and he killed it in season 2 of YR, i can't ger past his pimples, though. What can i say, i'm a swallow person.

I think this is just great! Joe has the potential to be an amazing actor. And it doesn't really matter if he's good looking or not or if you find him attractive. Enough people do. And to have his boyfriend bash as his head cheerleader it's just great.

Because they don't have a passionate fanbase that follow and stalk them everywhere online and in real life.

Crazy, devoted fanbase = butts in movie theater seats = more $$$

A devoted fanbase who will go see any project you're in is a holy commodity most actors would kill for.

Although Joe and Kit have to deal with the toxicity it inevitably invites, they know how important having the HS fanbase is to getting future projects and staying relevant.

Kit wasn't "desperate" to get his role in HS just because he had an affinity for the project itself. He knew it was potentially his ticket out of acting obscurity.

He will play Unibrau, the cast-off girlfriend of Frau Farbissima from the "Austin Powers" franchise.

Froy actually kind of does. Hence why he's been way more careful with how much and when he uses his socials. But he has yet to get a big gig that hits the culture in the way Heartstopper has.

Stars like Finn Wolfhard and timothee can still somehow pass as good looking because gen z loves skinny and androgynous guys, the problem is I can't find Joe attractive in any angle. As long he has those hideous eyebrows and square chin.

He's an ugly Brit which Hollywood seams to love hiring. I will say that if he is playing Billy(what a shame) that fact that he's out is to his advantage if the producers want to hire an Out actor. There aren't to many American actors his age and with his level of fame that are out.

R45 Why don't the makeup artists do something about it? They should just recommend plucking them. I have the same issue with Omar on Elite. His unibrow is just too distracting. It makes him uglier. And now it's revealed he will be back in season 7 dating some gorgeous model twink. How ridiculous. A male model would NEVER date someone with a unibrow in real life. I will NOT be watching if that is the only gay storyline next season.

Someone mentioned it in another thread but I think Joe would do great in high fashion. Great bone structure. The brows, while not everyone’s cup of tea make him stand out.

His ugliness is offensive, no celebrity actor should be ugly. Celebrities are supposed to be beautiful.

Joe is incredibly beautiful! He has a unique look, but he’s very striking.

Honestly he isn't ugly. Just not the stereotypical handsome look. His face is the type of face you see on models in high fashion runways. A bit odd looking but nice in a unique way. His near unibrow is the biggest think that bothers me about his face.

He has the same characteristic that a lot of good looking in real life people have but that’s rarer in celebrities - he’s not naturally too photogenic but he’s way better looking in real life and on screen. He was pretty striking in his show and interviews he’s done, I think he just can’t pose super well.

Sounded from the GQ interview he was becoming more comfortable with his image so maybe not.

R55 oh definitely there are some weird looking models out there but several arent what I think of as ugly. Some are odd but weirdly striking in appearance.

He looked great in most of the outfits but that striped halter neck top was an abomination.

He's not a catwalk model or any type model for that matter, he doesn't have to wear whatever they give him, he can refuse. He thinks he's breaking down some fashion barriers when in fact he looks stupid.
